  1. Finally got around to taking some pictures of my Built to Spill collection. Here's the 12" and 10"s I've got all the full length albums and 10"s. I just need to track down orignal Up pressings of Perfect From Now On, Keep it Like a Secret, Live, and a black copy of There's Nothing Wrong With Love. These are ones I'm not actively hunting for, but if I find them for cheap I'll pick them up. The test pressings are for Perfect From Now On, Keep it Like a Secret, and You in Reverse. Here's the 7"s The test pressing in in the upper left corner is for the Helvetia/BtS flexi "Spooky Action at the Sufferbus". I've got every 7" except for two (see below) These are my favorites of the 7"s. It's the first single they put out - Car/Girl. The two on the bottom are made from old 12" sleeves and stickers affixed. I just need to find a green and a white copy to complete the 7" collection. Here's the whole collection together.

Well i for one am over the f**king moon! I wasn't into collecting vinyl when this first came out so missed it. I have been looking at getting one for ages but the stupid inflated prices of £200 - £300 meant that it wasn't going to happen. Now i can finally get a copy! Happy days.

  10. Objectively bad by who's standards? This is a pretty damn good album, and it still holds up fairly well. It's a shame the kind of stuff that gets shoved into our earholes on the radio NOW, when back in the 90's, having talent actually got you signed. Nostalgia or not, this is an awesome record.

  13. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't 100% happy with "Half Grey/Half Red/Black Splatter" when I saw the mockup. But I have to say, seeing it in person, it looks AWESOME! I'm so happy I decided on that one.

  14. It's the spiritual successor to the Souls franchise, so much more than hack n' slash, but if the Souls games never appealed to you then this won't.

  15. However, the current trend is that multiplatform games on the PS4 run at an improved framerate over the Xbone. It's not the end of the world by any stretch, but it's worth noting. YESSSSS

  26. I have been selling used and vintage records like these for about eight months and can say that you could sell a majority of these for a dollar and have zero buyers. A lot of people are buying their favorite albums again, but only people looking for that exact album in good shape are going to pay more than a few bucks a piece. Condition is huge. Sealed vintage records can sell for $15-$20 easy as long as the name is well-known. Mint records go for a little less. No one wants to buy records that are covered in scratches. You'll have to go through and check both sides of every album because one scratch could make your already inexpensive record completely worthless. Bundling albums by the same artist helps a lot, especially if one of the records is in not so good condition. Good luck with how you decide to sell these. Ebay works reasonably well as long as you're selling things are that are popular enough. Check completed and sold listings to get an idea of prices. A lot of people think their old records are worth a lot, but in reality they're not worth jack.

  27. Man Bioshock Infinite. That was a game. I'm gonna grab those story DLCs now while I remember. ALSO I just put in an order for one of these bad boys: New custom shell, backlit screen installed and a glass screen lens to top it all off. Looking forward to getting my hands on this baby!

  31. Thanks to every one of you that has responded with their kind words. They pushed back the lung biopsy until tomorrow and then once they do that, they told us that they'll know exactly what it is on Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. We asked if going in there and removing anything would be an option and they said by looking at all the xrays and scans and stuff that they don't believe that would be an option. They believe that it started in the lung and there's a tumor there that has wrapped around the blood vessels and spread to her spine. There's also a spot on her liver. Won't know anything for sure until they get the tissue sample so for now we are just playing the waiting game. extra thanks to victim for posting the bulldog pics.

    Looking for Sad Music

I second Daughter. Best sad music around. I also recommend Noah Gundersen. He always gets me feeling the feels. I offer hugs and smiles. But, sometimes you just need to feel sad. Sometimes music helps you get into the melancholy of something you need to feel.

  33. Just moved into my new apartment. This is my first time having my records in the living room, as they used to always be in the bedroom. I think I'm liking them out here more. Next step is investing in some solid speakers, although these computer speakers sound surprisingly great.

I loved like the first 2/3 of Noah. Probably because I read false spoilers about the ending that would have made the movie CRAZY dark. The creation scene was amazing though. Beautiful movie throughout too. The Fountain is probably in my all time Top 5.

  37. Who gives a flying fuck? Nothing wrong with represses so people can have the chance of getting them without having to pay ridiculous prices on ebay. If you're upset because represses lower the value of stuff, you're doing it wrong chief.
