The only action figures I ever collected (and by that I mean held onto as a means of entertainment AND investment) were the World of Springfield Simpsons toys. I had everything (including the Toyfare, Toys R Us, EB, etc exclusives) in duplicate; one opened to play with and one sealed. Sold them in a lot at some point when I was in college because I was sick of moving them around and made more money that I would have now I think. They were still in production and I think I quit between Waves 8 and 10. What made them so cool was the fact that they all had a chip on their foot and when you put them in a playset locking their foot in place you could press a button and it would play a quote of that character in that scene. As time when on, they made new playsets and that would allow for more phrases from the characters. It was super cool. Here's a decent overview

I’m pretty sure this design is from the early to mid 2000s lol. I know I have an eye for an eye logo shirt somewhere in the closet. on the fence about picking this up. Sounds remastered so that is a plus.

I doubt they could pull a fast one on you if you put down the full cost of the console. I know they try that sneaky shit if you don't fully pay for a game. If anything just keep track of the receipt and show up day 1. If it were me I'd just stick with Best Buy. If you pre-order something and choose to pick up in store they have a whole separate checkout process where you show them your receipt and license and they hand whatever you ordered right over. Very simple and no waiting in lines.

Got my copy today, it is superb. Nice packaging, gatefold with lyrics insert and a nice surprise it was cut at 45 rpm. Nice job by Rare Form Mastering, there are little nuances ive never noticed on the CD or mp3s I've listened to 100+ times. LPs were flat and quiet minus a little surface noise on Into The Spin but that may settle down on future plays. Highly recommended purchase, one of my favorite albums ever!

They should take advantage & release a box set with all three already.
