  1. Now don't you two see that you're in love with each other? You're running around out there looking for something that's not even there when everything you dream of is right here.

  4. To anyone concerned about the quantity changes - It is a simple doubling of each variant, and they are still pretty limited at 500pcs each, as these are quickly selling out.

  7. Absolutely one of my favs! That band was so damn good. If the put out a copy of 'These Liquid Lungs' with the 'Allegory of Death and Fame EP' put on there, I would be the happiest guy

  8. Both variants are sold out, but there's a bone white indie version (and sure to be another variant or two down the line).

  9. Voivod - The Outer Limits repress! Looks like it's sold out from the label, but I found it on Amazon/Bullmoose https://realgonemusic.com/products/voivod-the-outer-limits-lp?_pos=1&_sid=438259d5f&_ss=r&fbclid=IwAR1p7QwN9_Q3B0iYekIfe0rEq_PtAoe5UdtPAGAfbjxX_PtOlfWRM125yFg https://www.amazon.com/Outer-Limits-Limited-Black-Swirl/dp/B08Y669Q6C/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=voivod+vinyl&qid=1615644020&sr=8-1 https://www.bullmoose.com/p/34975714/voivod-the-outer-limits-blue-with-black-swirl-vinyl-ltd-1500

  10. I’d pick up Cute Is What We Aim For’s debut album for sure. I haven’t listened to it in about 15 years but these nostalgia releases always get me. Oh yeah and VersaEmerge please, do it!

  11. Sonnborner is what got me down the rabbit hole. It's such an unusual structure for an album, and on paper it probably shouldn't work, but when I first heard it it felt like such a breath of fresh air. Up until then my only exposure was through a couple of their older splits (Kodiak and ASOL), which really weren't a great representation of what I was missing. I've listened to almost every Nadja release in the last three months and a good chuck of AB solo and side projects and added a bunch of it to my collection by placing a sizable order with Aidan. I ended up getting CD's for a lot of it and in some instances that's the better format (Thaumogenesis in particular), but the extra 20 minute hidden track on Tangled is really cool as well. At this point I think Autopergamene is the quintessential album from their early years, and that one works brilliantly on vinyl. I also don't click with splits very easily, but their collab with Pyramids is pretty amazing.

  12. Queller and Dagdrom are always in rotation, forgive if I've said it before, Queller is a great entry point and imo most accessible to anyone not familiar with drone. Those riffs just stick with you. Sonnborner is definitely worth more listens @Mars Their splits with Vampillia - The Perfect World and Imperfection clicked with me, whereas some others did not. The Bungled And The Botched was the one that got me hooked. My sealed copy from Amoeba records had a jarring, loud pop for at least 15 revs right before the wall hits, so I had to replace it -- with a white label copy. It took me a solid month or more to go from start to finish one time through their back cat many years ago now, including solo and side projects. Prolific doesn't even begin to describe AB, but I have to say I'm glad he has slowed down a little bit and done some cassette releases. 2xLP for drone is a bummer having to get up and flip 3 times, so drone weekends are when I'm already in the listening room doing paperwork or sometning. I need to do it again for the albums I passed on. Running out of room for vinyl and time to spin everything.

  14. Being a big fan of BT I/II, I'm embarrassed to admit I hadn't listened to this before today. Rad album, might need to grab a copy of this.

  17. Nice. I think the visual aspect of the band live is underappreciated too. After I last saw them, I spoke with Karl Lemieux. He tore off a strip of film and gave it to me. I keep it with the album from that time, which was Asunder, Sweet...

  23. i love how victory test presses were relegated to an old trunk. seems like the perfect summation of how the label actually felt about the music they claimed to care so much about.
