  2. I feel like for $350 I could commission an album from Of Montreal and order my own test pressing.

  3. I've really hated Billy's production choices for the past 20 years. Maybe its pro-tools, but everything seems loud and bright. No grit.

  4. Webstore variant (no pressing numbers) https://takingbacksundaystore.com/collections/preorder additional 10" with 4 handpicked songs by the band /1000 (costs an additional 20 bucks, wtf) and than the other preorder probably the Indies exclusive (cause the Craft Records website says /100, but that seems not a lot for them and stores) https://store.craftrecordings.com/collections/frontpage/products/taking-back-sunday-twenty-limited-edition-koi-pond-2-lp

  6. ...and Death from Above is pretty great. And Superchrist. There was a classic album in those recordings. Pomp and Circumstance should've never seen the light if day. God And Country was a good song that was butchered in the final version chosen that for the album. I've heard a killer acoustic version of that song. The subsequent Zeitgeist tours slayed.

  12. this is part of the dine alone store exclusives we created for our brick and mortar retail. we sold a portion of them back in april for RSD and we'll have more available for the black friday weekend. for some of the new releases we've been offering a small amount online to help international fans but the balance is for our retail store.

  14. This is such a good idea and a potential way to discover new music. Unfortunately, Discogs seems to be only ever focused on improving their marketplace. That's a shame since they have so much data that can be used to get people to discover and purchase new music. With better, creative management, Discogs could be so much better. I know they have the recommendations list on each page but those are always like the same 10 albums. Random Access Memories for example is a popular one I see on majority of the pages I check out.

  17. Copy and pasted from last year, still holds true... my name is andrew and i live outside philadelphia. some of my favorite bands are the loved ones/dave hause, gaslight anthem/horrible crowes/brian fallon, holy mess, bouncing souls, alkaline trio, kid dynamite, unwritten law, the lawrence arms/falcon, tim barry/avail, the menzingers, red city radio, . im a huge fan of pop punk, raspy vocals, 90s skate punk and "woahs". i love onyx's first album and similar rap from the early to mid 90's. i work in a restaurant so by the time i get home i rarely feel like doing anything. my nights are usually watching the shows my girlfriend wants to watch and then its usually espn or random sitcoms while im on the computer. i listen to music all day while im at work and am always looking for something new to add to the rotation. Heres most of my collection for reference: https://www.discogs.com/user/ozfacter/collection thats all i can think of at the moment. if you want to know anything just have some one ask.

  18. Might have to get Summer of 84. Just watched the movie because I read it was directed by the same people who did Turbo Kid. They also got Le Matos to score it as well. Didn't know what the movie was about going into it. Was hoping for more over the top gorey fun like Turbo Kid but it wasn't anything like it. The movie was decent and had good suspense. Nothing amazing but I enjoyed the music a lot. I'll wait until I find out how the pressing turns out before I buy it.

  24. Are you saying MOV never does more than a single variant? Or that they don't do color? I grabbed the MOV reissue of SHOGUN last year and its on a awesome black and red marble.
