I have all of the tests for releases I’ve done on my label. I have a few others that either I bought a while ago or was given. ive probably sold 50 tests in the last year getting rid of stuff. i press 15 tests every release because I send tests to each band member and anyone else that did something on the record.

they did an amazing job with the limited edition of this release... the sleeve looks awesome and the pressing is perfect, even sounds better than the digital files. 10/10 for Warp

...along with the extra “crackle” that comes pressed into the grooves of your usual GITD pressings! I will bet the poster will be cool though.

It's how RTI does their tests. SRC uses RTI as of recently for all their newer represses.

Kind of crazy that they moved ~800 of these in a few days with Zero PR / announcement. And while you can certainly find New Junk on black vinyl for like $20, my colored copy is a prized item! Its just such a fantastic record, so many catchy / fun tracks.

They will change their inventory based on whatever the current trend is. They’ll be fine.

I love that one of the first comments is “$25.99, I’ll pass” when newer ETID records sell for more on the aftermarket than that. Last time I saw From Parts Unkown in a store, it was used and $60.

I play all of my records, even when I have multiple variants of something. It's my way of sort of justifying having them. I'm not gonna damage the test press by playing it, unless there's some freak accident as I'm handling it. Never going to sell it, so I might as well enjoy having it.

Love these guys. Saw them at The Rave when hardly anyone knew who they were. That said, fuck them and fueled by ramen, and the attempted normalization of the $30 2LP. It was bad enough that Blurryface was $24.

The real question is how many minutes into the new album will Billy use the word "lover"? On Ogilala it was about 12 minutes.

My friend pointed out to me that the Walgreens Halloween exclusives are now on their website. I tried adding it to my cart this morning but there were "none in inventory". Maybe they'll start popping up online soon? Who knows.

Maybe flesh it out with live tracks too. Most of their b sides became STA, Elect the Dead and Scars on Broadway. "Shame" will never appear again in this day and age lol
