The singer Brandin was a regular at a bar where I did sound for a bit and suffice it to say that he has never stopped living in and for the moment that they recorded their first music video. I genuinely think it's the only thing he ever talked about to me... which was pretty surreal, because I loved them on that show. There's no one more sad than a drunken failed rock star at the local watering hole.

april 30 was the original release date. june 18 was the new delayed release date. edit: i have got NO shipping notice yet. and its friday so that means it probably wont ship until monday for me. edit again: monday is a holiday so tuesday. grrrr.

I didn’t get into the last album but I really dig what I’ve heard of this one. Not always an easy listen, but if you wrote them off previously, they seem to be doing something different on this one.

I'm also sad I missed this... I think it's one of my favourites too. I saw them live maybe 15 years ago, and despite "I know you are but what am I" being one of their most calm songs, it had some of the heaviest bass I've ever experienced live... Agreed that 'hunted by a freak' is one of their best. It's one of the few songs I went out of my way to learn to play on guitar too!

We thought that they would stay in press in 2018 and well...It does seem like some version may stay in print for a bit, and we know there is a second run coming this fall, so you do have some time. I don’t think you need to run out today, but if you want it, get it at some point this year.

In honor of ITF arriving today, here's a mini-heart attack that just happened to me. I decided to create an account on the Bad Brains site so I could keep track of everything and I noticed there was only one order (Rock For Light), but I KNEW I ordered PTC on silver and Punk Note of S/T. I searched through my emails, aligned dates using this thread, checked credit card statements and Paypal. Nothing. I am shattered. I knew I ordered it. I thought maybe I was too drunk at that time and didn't go through with it. No idea how I could have missed it. On a last ditch effort I checked my bank statement, and BAM. I see it in Dec. Then I'm like, wait, but Bad Brains has no record of it, HOW WILL I PROVE IT? Then it dawned on me. I must've used my gmail. I did. Thank fuck. TL;DR- I should only use one email address when ordering vinyl.
