This is just the nature of mail order. I buy lots of records in the mail and many arrive with spine splits, corner bumps and bends. It happens when companies have loads of product to send. My Fat Decline "Yellow" LPs all had spine splits. Its just a roll of the dice as to how the package is handled. Many collectors who are sending out just a few LPs have time to remove the record from the jacket and wrap in bubble wrap, not so if you have to send loads of stuff. Much less many people want their stuff sealed. Todd is really being fair offering to replace damage. Heres one that will drive you crazy and keep you up at nite...years ago (in the 70's) I worked for UPS loading trucks while in college. You cant imagine how many packages ive seen thrown, dropped,and basically mishandled. At Fed X ALL packages no matter where they originate from are flown to Memphis TN and run down a maze of shoots...stacking up, banging together, etc. Damage can happen no matter how well they are packaged. Not sure how US mail does it. Try to be more understanding especally when Todd is willing to correct the problems. ...Ray

Yes, we definitely need more terrible mashup artists coming over here from Europe. Especially ones that can't be bothered to fill out the right paperwork to work here. The punishment probably has a lot to do with the years he's apparently been working here illegally.

RSD is the street date. Their distributor would not sell them to us for RSD because we did not sign a pledge in advance, despite the fact we obviously HAVE an actual record store, haha. We may get some copies in late April if there are any leftover after baseball card day, I mean comic book day, I mean beanie baby day, I mean pog day, I mean RSD. I'll post here if we do.

gotta say i'm bummed about this. a lot of good memories associated with them from back when I was younger. Oddly enough listening to their music and going and seeing their shows was a bond me and my mom share. We used to jam bullets and three cheers in the family van all the time, and she took me to see them a couple times when they were touring with reggie and alkaline trio. When I was a freshman, she snuck me out of school to drive to chicago for one of the black parade release shows. Half way through black parades touring cycle she got sick with major heart problems and ovarian cancer, but thankfully she got better and we went to a shit ton more shows. I cherish the shit out of those times. If anything, going to see them with my cool ass mom is what i'm gonna miss most about them being gone. sorry for the lame ass story!

I wasn't a part of the first one, but I believe a bunch of people chipped in $60 money and were guaranteed 4 records. Basically it was a kickstarter for a label where the community picked what was pressed.

Well, if you read my post, I stated exactly what you said. However, from the perspective of a record collector, it's just not a real "find". And yes, I listen to my records and probably take much better care of them than you. dude, who cares? there are so many records on here that people pay stupid money for that I think are ridiculous. If someone finds one of those records for cheap and they feel like they got a good deal then it's a score for them. I personally fucking hate Bob Dylan but I wouldn't randomly shit on someone else who found one of those records for cheap if it made them happy.
