Here's one trick THEY don't want you to know (flippers hate this): If you leave the vinyl in direct sunlight (or any heat source) for long enough it turns into the much rarer clear variant.

If I ordered the Deluxe and it got cancelled I'd be pissed and pretty upset. I'd probably complain about it on these forums. I would not contact the band and label like I was owed something. You paid for a product. Instead of that product, you got your money back. The transaction is back to zero and you are owed nothing. Does it suck? A lot. Is that life? Yeah. The kind of whining you did and then the public patting of your own back gives all of us a bad name. Is it awesome when a label goes above and beyong to make up for a fuck up? Yeah, but it's not something any of us are owed.

I will gladly retract my statement where i inferred that this reminds me of middle period Coldplay, as i wasn't really trying to infer that the bands sound like each other in any way, which seems to be what most people are taking away from the comment. I was never trying to bash Radiohead, IMO OK/Kid A/Hail to the Thief is about as solid of a 3 album run as any band could have, the point that i was poorly trying to make is that i didn't feel that the song was engaging in the way Radiohead is often engaging to me. I really dislike King of Limbs but i can say that i felt engaged if not challenged by it. The new song didn't grab me at first, but as this thread continued i couldn't just assume that y'all were just flat wrong so i gave it about 5 more listens on my Audeze's. It definitely grew on me, i tried to focus on the bass and the strings as so many had mentioned here, and i could start to hear the heart of the song revealing itself. TLDR, sorry for comparing this to Coldplay, at the time i was trying to say that i felt this was undeserving of blind hype, but at the end of the day Radiohead is Radiohead so fuck me.

Yeah, I'd definitely be upset if my order was cancelled. But if I then went and complained to the label and they later announced some sort of compensation, I wouldn't assume that I'd singlehanded caused said compensation. Nor would I announce (proudly) that my bitching was the reason that the label was doing something for the people they had unintentionally screwed.

In regards to our feedback: that's what most important to me on here as a seller / buyer / trader. It shows me who is trustworthy, who is not, and who is on here to shitpost, or on here to sell. Are we going to be able to see user feedback, and are we going to be able to see it on a post like we used to? We replaced feedback with rep., but why not have both?

I kinda think this whole thing is cool, but a little bit misleading... The affect occurs when you shine a bright light through the first panel of the gatefold and then starry image is then visible through the front cover die cut. Has nothing to do with actually leaving it in the sun like a glow in the dark image or something. Still a cool thing nonetheless but I think the original poster was a bit misleading

Just to Inform some people with some of the history http://citizeninsane.eu/burnthewitch.html Also I love the Steve Reich Comparison in certain areas is dead on, the subtle shifts in tempo and slow leak of transitional additives to add to depth!!! YES... anyway I for one enjoy "Burn The Witch" it has an odd sense of juxtaposing contrasting emotions and textures. I feel it has angst yet a subtle calm airiness, its complex yet very simplistic, certain parts feel dense and thick while others feel singular, a bit playful and odd, IDK i need to digest it more i have only listened to it 5 or so times. Either way Radiohead is a master at this. Is it the best track maybe not but its damn tasty and has me thinking!! I am very excited to see how this album plays in its entirety.

Punk music is safe. Pop-punk is safe. Emo is safe. Instrumentally, this song is experimental AF, and hugely inspired by the avant garde work of Steve Reich. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but calling it "safe" says more about you than you know.
