This topic may be sort of dumb, and there are an awful lot of "do some cursory Googling for me and let me know what you find" threads, but I have wondered why some vinyl-related threads get moved to Everything Else. The vinyl board has developed a weird dynamic where conversation is very rigid and each thread is centered around when a PO goes up and who is selling what variant and what everyone's order number is. To an outsider it must look like a bunch of robots who have recently become sentient and are so far only able to communicate in numbers and tracking information. There's about a 50:1 ratio of threads that are just a link to buy something vs. threads that are just for actual discussion/opinions/rants/fun stuff. We all make fun of the people who do make those threads, but I'd take 10 moonbeams/crazybeats/kess threads over a single thread that includes the words Hot Topic Exclusive.

Logging in just to say, damn, I can't believe this album is nine years old today. I was a naïeve 16 year old kid when this came out. I remember my first girlfriend and I would listen to this album for hours and hours, and that's really the only reason I have an attachment to this album and band. I'm really lucky to own a couple copies of the first pressing.

So it's offensive/rude for me to want some communication with a label? I also have a brain and this board has tons of topics on pre orders and half of them get held up. I guarantee you that most people in those threads would be saying the same thing as me if they were waiting for a record and the label wasn't saying anything. You most definitely aren't on the same page as the general population when it comes to knowing/wanting good customer service. Just for an example here. If you pre ordered a PS4 or XBOX ONE when they were announced and you were expecting for yours to arrive on the date you were told and then you didn't get it for another 2 or 3 months, you would be wanting some kind of explanation. Why is it different with records? Even though this happens more often in the vinyl community, you are still allowed some communication from the label and why/what happened. There have been multiple labels on here screw a lot of members over when it comes to ordering a record and those members never see the record and sometimes don't get their money back. You may feel like you don't want an explanation and that is your prerogative but others on here might. You're wrong in thinking that how you would want things is how it should be for everyone.

That is exactly what he should say to be honest with you. I would never sell a record and not mention a single thing to the people that bought it if it was being held up as long as it has. I wasn't doging on broken circles at all. I think they are a great label but communication is the best customer service. Just a quick tweet or email is fine. As I'm typing this, I realize he sent out an email just a few days ago about the hold up. Those emails are what I'm talking about. Just a little info letting us know what's going on. I'm glad he finally sent one but I wouldn't have minded if it had been 2 months ago. I would have never held off listening to this for so long.

Blue was for sale on his label site. 100 were sold at Luna music in Indianapolis. The Yellow and black seem to be the retail versions. Different online places have carried them, your local may too. But yeah, Bullmoose seems to be sold out. The red and clear are news to everyone. So no details on how to get those yet, But I bet we don't see them for a couple of months.

Just got my first RC package, I can't express how awesome it is, and a frigging amazing value. Exclusive numbered vinyl, posters, cassettes, Cd's, AND an awesome tshirt- not to mention shipping for that price- for incredible releases is amazing. I'm in for this for a long, long time. I wish I'd done it sooner.

Bumping because I just saw these guys play and they fucking killed it. The guitars sounded just as warm and rich on the album. Also I didn't even know they had a female band member but she tore it up on lead guitar. Talked to them after their set and they were genuinely nice and gracious people. Support em if you dig em.

Thought it was just the "Mondo" thread.

We had HUGE HUGE HUGE issues with the plant on this. The initial pressing was shorted 150 of the white records. When that first set of records came off the presses and was packed, they left all the clear/blue records on the dock, and then for whatever reason sent them back in to the storage. Once this was discovered, they had to track them down and get them on the truck. Then there was a mixup at Rev where they shelved all those copies instead of sending them to No Sleep, which I finally sorted out last week. Since we had no Clear/Blue records, any orders for just those or the test press/3 packs weren't shipped. That said, any/all orders should have shipped by now, so if you don't get it by next week, let us know and we'll figure it out.

I'd absolutely keep them sealed to remove any possibility of accidentally playing them and having to hear them.

Hot Topic's ship to store's packaging was great. Everything is mint. Best Buy ships fast and my album looked perfect. ShopRadioCast replies to emails extremely fast. I've had very good experiences lately.
