KeepDoubting, the reason we are causing such a fuss is that the original pressings are very scarce and nearly impossible to track down. We also suspected there wasn't enough demand to warrant represses. This is news out of the blue (heh) that we never saw coming. This is true. You actually told me about this first when I sent you a record a while back. I never pay for tracking anymore. Although at one point a few months ago I was going to this smaller post office so much to the point where the dude knew my name and I always said no tracking so I think he voided the PPID number or something so I stopped going to that one and have been getting it free every time. They still always ask too haha

Ok you don't know what you're talking about. I ship media mail a good bit and I never pay the extra 90 cents for tracking. The PID number on the receipt is and always was traceable on the USPS website. A friend at the post office told me this about 2 years ago

Probably my all-time favorite electronic album is by Biosphere called "Substrata." Very mellow, very cold, absolutely incredible. You can hear it on YouTube. An excellent late night album, good for meditation and reflection as well. Haunting and beautiful. I also enjoy Steve Hauschildt's solo work (Tragedy and Geometry is my favorite).

you can call it what you will, but it is what it is. nothing's going to change, so I don't see the point of getting bent out of shape over it. how many pages worth of whiny posts do you think have been posted on this board? labels still make empty promises. releases still get delayed. prices still keep going up. at the end of the day, all that I care about is that I get the item that I paid for in a reasonably timely manner. things rarely go as they're projected and there's no accountability for poor service. people will still buy anything if it's a release they want to have on vinyl. in the meantime, if I want to listen to 'illuminate' right now, I've got it on my ipod.

100%. The lyric booklet was really the only thing that had me semi-interested in the RSD release anyhow. Now, I don't think I'd even trade my repress for a RSD.

Bummed about the wait for the vinyl, but the direction they went with this able is crazy and I love it. Can definitely see the progression. They're going to explode this year.

Untrue. The USPS has an internal tracking system that they used but in order for a person to track a package they pay extra. I found this out today too. Gotta work on the shipping costs in my store. Any change in international shipping? I hope it didn't go up, it's already around $18.60 to ship one LP to Euroland.

I think a lot of people get bummed that they're not re-issuing stuff that actually needs a re-issue, but continue putting out stuff that is easily available at reasonable prices already. They then charge a $20-$30 premium on it for a few days, then jack the price up further. I think the only hate you're going to get is from asking people if they can't afford something, as if everyone should be willing and able to lay down $30-$40 bucks for shit that they could get for $10 elsewhere. That comes off as elitist and makes you sound kind of like a prick.
