Clearly a lot of people have personal beef with SRC, and them saying so isn't a problem at all. Hell, nobody ever goes to their defense or anything, I just don't like seeing users like @ckraus333 start to get dogpiled for sharing some quick info and a link in a thread that otherwise would've dropped off in a day or so. We all have problems with certain labels/bands/artists/even users, but it doesn't need to be brought up constantly. I don't support Hopeless Records anymore because they work with absolute pieces of shit like Adam Fox, but I don't mention that in every Hopeless release thread lol. Edit: for the record I have no idea if this is the same guy from that charity comp. Heard from a trusted friend who got ripped off by the Adam Fox who used to slum it on these boards that he worked with Hopeless on some stuff. I or he could be mistaken and mixing them up, either way those of you who have been here long enough know exactly who I'm talking about, fuck that dude.

Definitely don't work for SRC. But I get a lot of my info from their social media pages. I am not trying to plug their site. If Bull Moose or some other retailer posted about these TBS represses I would have copy and pasted their post. I find it rather silly that I even have to defend myself.

Hoping that someone can confirm this, but I heard that the most recent issue of Q magazine has an interview with Doves, who say they are going to release a new album in 2020, and also reissue all older albums starting in May 2019. Lost Souls is a white whale for me so this is massive news if true.

If you like what you heard, you really gotta’ power on through those other 5 albums before this new one gets released. May as well keep it sequential since you’ve started with Enter. Easily one of the most consistent bands that still retains my interest after a decade+.

Can't comment on SRC's marketing strategy with ads, as far as I can tell this place has always been rotten with them since Virgil gave up on it. Regardless, you're not the arbiter of content that gets shared on this board. People shouldn't have to worry if they're going to get lectured because they shared a link and didn't write a dissertation about it too. Live and let live.

The original UK, to my ears, sounds superior to the original US and the KG cut from Back to Black. I've owned all 3. I sold the original US. As far as the Fragile goes, the original is definitely a better cut that the Definitive. That's not even a question. I have original presses of every Halo vinyl release (other than one 10"). For the most part, all the original LPs sound better. One of the exceptions being the KG TDS sounds better than the original US.

I prefer the definitive edition simply because I hate the way the back to black version has the opening of Reptile on one side and the rest of the song on the other. The definitive edition got it right. And I also prefer the slightly more aggressive sound it has. They are both quality.
