PO NOW: My American Heart - Hiding Inside The Horrible Weather (REPRESS)
1876records and one other reacted to IndigoHollow for a topic
That happend to my Creeper thread as well. When the "American Noir" album was announced I created a thread about it. Some minutes after new user Dolgan was created by someone. This user found an old ass Wasda's thread about the previous Creeper album and posted that he loves this album. BTW it was the only user's message since that day. After that Wasda and lostcrimes began to post in Wasda's OLD thread about the NEW album. For me it's pretty obvious that this new user was created by Wasda only to bump his own thread. But for what? Things like that makes him happy? That's just pathetic. Also it's pretty obvious that Wasda has multiply accounts. It's easy to spot them - just open any of his threads about The Used, Beartooth or something like that. Same accounts all the time.2 points -

There’s a preorder date, band members have posted it, and a place. I’d say that’s pretty damn concrete you fucking weirdo.2 points -
Received my copy of LLO from Burnt Toast today. It's a 10 out of 10. I own the Big School Records gold pressing as well, and this new version far surpasses that in overall quality and attention to detail. It's a heavy weight trifold jacket with reflective printing. Tons of glossy photos. All LPs are clean and come in Gotta Groove MoFi-style rice paper inner sleeves. Also includes printed paper sleeves with additional artwork. A small insert with more photos and information. Recording notes, etc. The LPs are a little different from the mockups. I ordered the amber with black swirl but it ended up being more of a multicolor swirl. Doesn't really matter that much, just worth mentioning. Still looks greatm. I have only listened to Side A thus far. Plays clean. I think everyone here will be really pleased with this reissue.2 points

https://shop.mainstreamrecords.de/product/eom98 /500 black vinyl only right now. Comes out Aug 27. This looks like the only place to PO this for the time being. I really like some of this bands output, not sure how I feel about those Jonah vocals honestly, but we'll see.1 point -
PO Now: Carcass - Torn Arteries
Metal Mike reacted to roadmonkey for a topic
Honestly, I'm all for it. Way more people are buying vinyl and the idea of actually being able to get a copy (especially if you don't give a crap about color) on day one is nice. Only the die hards will have their finger on the finger for the rarest variant and/or try to collect every single color. Quite frankly that's cool too, more money in the band's pocket. That being said the wacky box set BS needs to stop.. including this place setting one. I mean fucking hell am I supposed to buy 8 of these fucking things so I can properly entertain my vegan metal friends during our fancy dinner parties?1 point -
So I just saw this posted in a synthwave fb group today, never heard of Roosevelt before I don't think, but I'm getting the entire discography asap, just need to figure out what the most economic way is of getting all (or most) on colored variants. Incredible music.1 point

Wasn’t MOV’s a similar shade of opaque gold? Didn’t seem to stop people from dropping $200+ on it.1 point -
I spent 2007-2010 aggressively buying all my grails. The past decade I've been averaging a record a month (sometimes less) which mostly consist of newer releases from the year. Things have been much less stressful after I had amassed everything that I really wanted, it's more enjoyable at this pace.1 point

Your favorite band/artist announced a new album? Great! Don't start a "PO SOON" thread unless there's any solid & legit info on a vinyl release. Get hyped about the release on the EE board. Don't clutter the main board yet.1 point

It’s literally a rule of this message board to not post anything without concrete information but for some strange twisted fucked up reason you get off on making as many threads as possible, even if it means posting a thread weeks before any vinyl is even hinted at or announced. You’re annoying as fuck. Honestly you’re probably just upset you didn’t get to create this thread, so you’re lashing out at me cause you’re gonna lose sleep tonight over it. So yeah, I double reiterate my initial point, you have fucking issues.1 point -

Jazz Music & Records Thread
SpazzyMcGee reacted to jerseydave77 for a topic
Today's pull - $18 - pretty damn pleased. Miles Davis - "Sketches of Spain" six-eye first press mono - cover is beat (G), vinyl has marks but plays clean a very good VG. Herbie Hancock "Secrets" - The tail end of my favorite of his funk-jazz albums Cannonball Adderley Sextet - Live at the SF Jazz Workshop - first stereo press VG+/VG+. It's a great record, love the spots where he's introducing songs. Miles Davis "Ghetto..." - Not as exciting as the other pickups. Guess this was the RSD release. Nice copy. No complaints for a few bucks.1 point -
