In a week and a half, I'll be launching a Kickstarter to fund the press of my third album on vinyl - a recreation of the entirety of "Sea Change" by Beck using only a Nintendo and a Gameboy. Previously, I've done "In the Aeroplane Over The Sea" by Neutral Milk Hotel and "The Soft Bulletin" by The Flaming Lips, so I'm excited to be doing it again with an album in my personal top 5 of all time. I also liked the challenge of recreating such somber music with heavy lyrics in a genre typically associated with cheery, upbeat tracks. I mean, the last 10" single, I *really* liked those songs. I played this game last time, buying each of the three EPs that made up the first album, and then buying the full album when it dropped. It's kind shitty, but honestly I didn't loose any money, I sold the EPs when the album dropped without even being scummy about the price I was ahead money. And I didn't feel bad because if all you cared about was the music, a new fan could buy the album. If you were a collector and wanted the EPs just cause, then fine, I was selling mine. It'll probably be the same deal as last time, but I like the songs enough that if it turns out for each of these only one of two of the songs ends up on the album then great, I have the B-Side on vinyl. If not and it's all on the album, then great, I can just sell these.

Crazy to see how big of a release this is getting. Heard a bunch of their other tracks from the Riot Fest set, excited for the full album to drop. I think these songs are pretty 'live/performance' oriented, in the writing. Hope so anyways, cuz Im seeing them on the current tour lol

Niiiice, have had one of the 2xLP reissues since it came out, but always loved the original artwork and may double dip. I know SFTD is highly regarded as their best, but ST gets my motor runnin' like no other.
