Cool to see everyone's getting their records, I spent the last two days I had before tour packaging 350+ orders and am feeling like a superhero about it. Sorry that some people are upset with the vinyl being packaged outside of the jackets / between the sleeves and the innersleeves, I only started doing that because so many older shipments got damaged previous with records included inside, I'll definitely listen to anyone's ideas or recommendations about doing this in a different / better way (only if you're nice though ) Gonna be getting back into the saddles with everything as soon as the holidays are over, all the final details for the 2x12" Swung from The Branches reissue have been finalized and it's gonna look fucking awesome. Tour is pretty insane and physically / mentally demanding at this particular instance so I'm sorry I haven't posted updates here in a bit or been quick with emails. I'm having fun and feel really happy right now and it is great. Thanks for the support, everyone.

The record was ordered as four distinct colors and the plant fucked up and pressed 1000 random colors from dark green to gold. BC did their best to go through each record and choose cariants for them.

I doubt that there'll be a special "press" color since that's usually done in the Country music industry for awards and what. And since 1989 has no country connections, I highly doubt it'll be in any awards nominations like CMA's.

I dig the colors, but I'm not actually too keen on the updated artwork. Makes me glad I was able to grab a copy of the first pressing for retail right before it went OOP. Here's hoping for a similar thread about Constellations popping up in the near future.

Well Brooklyn Phono have really fucked this one up and refuse to take responsibility. After a number of emails, they confirmed my two replacement records had been shipped. What I received was a bill for £17.86 ($28.67). The customs document said they had shipped me 4 records with a combined value of $55. So I emailed them and told them and they said an extra surprise had been added. So I thought two records for $28.67 might be OK and paid. There were only 3 records in the package and the surprise was the RSD 7" worth perhaps 2/3 of that in Europe. more likely less than 1/2. The box set itself was $99, so each record is actually worth $12.38 assuming the box has no value. I should have received two records worth $24.75 which I may or may not have had had to pay to import - it's on the border. So I have had to pay again nearly 14% of the total amount I paid to get the box set into the UK for two records that should have worked in the first place, a record I don't want and one that doesn't actually exists. Of course Brooklyn Phono have washed their hands of this. And before anyone else says it, Boo Hoo. My heart pumps purple piss for you. I don't care if you think that. Fucking appaling customer service.

Of course they're not a representation of the US population, no one said that, you just took what was said and interpreted it that way. I dont judge all cops based on the actions of some. I also dont make assumptions that just because I cant SEE the good cops trying to make change, that all cops are the problem. But I guess im "old" and I just "dont get it".

No one said they were. Hot Topic facilities reissues done by their respective labels and most of them end up sounding like shit because they're not mastered properly and probably cut corners. But in the grand scheme of things, it's pretty easy to see similarities between the two. That being said. I haven't ordered very much from either of them but have had issues with more than half the orders I've gotten from SRC. I don't think I've ever had an issue with something coming from Hot Topic, but again, I've probably ordered three things from them and have walked into a store twice in my life.
