I agree with most of that Justin. That being said, I don't know that people were making jokes, I think it's more been open uncertainty about the blatant display of religion. If Jesse Lacy came out as gay and made songs called "fuck yeah penises" or "Big muscles" or something, I'd be questioning the quality of that too, even though he's an incredible musician. People are concerned about the blatant subject matter, but I don't think anyone here is insulting Christianity itself

Just throwing this out there..no one jump down my throat because this is just an observation and it isn't aimed at anyone in particular..but I hate how it's so easy for someone to get called out for being a "homophobe" or a "bigot" or whatever on these boards because they call their close friends "fags" or "gay" or whatever but as soon as a topic that is clearly about a Christian artist is posted, it's okay to make the "religious" jokes and comments. As a believer (not your typical "Christian") it's so frustrating because I know a lot of you guys or gals on here have been hurt or have had a bad experience through someone in the church and its caused a disconnect with others who actually live a true Christian life. Dustin's heart is obviously in the whole Jesus thing right now and it's cool that he has a musical talent and wants to show his heart through what we all know is a special gift that not a lot of us have.. so why is it okay to make the religious jokes?

I definitely understand and rightfully so. I'm just referring to the small jokes of "going to hell" and the South Park video type stuff. It's funny I get it! I watched the video and chuckled a little but I just find it to be pretty lame..and the only reason I even mention it is because when a Christian or Republican or whatever group shows the least amount of so called "intolerance" people jump on the chance at stumping them out. I don't at all feel the need to defend Christ or my faith, I'm passed that in my life, it's more of just trying to make a point and if it isn't really heard that's okay. Says somebody who needs RSD to talk to people at the record store. I strike up conversation at the record store all the time. I don't need to spend hours in line one or two days a year with a bunch of people waiting to buy overpriced crap to call myself social.

This is the exact type of crap that is making me buy less records. All these excessive variants all at once and lame bundles becoming the norm. I think the onesie in a bundle takes the cake for trying way too hard. I would have normally bought this record and now I'm not motivated to buy it at all.

Why - because I felt like tracking them down and adding them to my collection . How - trading , buying , friends , eBay . I wish that was $100Gs in records , haha

For reference, I had a record I bought new and sealed. I played it on my original ION cheapo table and it would skip every time on certain parts. When i bought my Technics 1200 it no longer skipped. I'd guess it's the table.
