I’d love it if Roadrunner re-pressed Iowa for RSD

This album is GREAT. Holy crap. Never thought I'd be stoked on a Mono album in 2019 but here we are. Went into this with subzero expectations -- Requiem had no staying power for me and when I heard that they added "electronics" for this new album I thought we'd be seeing a change from bad to worse. Glad I was wrong. This thing blows everything since Hymn out of the water. Huge Pipal Tree vibes on the title track. "Meet Us Where the Night Ends" and "Sorrow" are colossal, like the mashup between Hymn and One Step we didn't know we needed. I'm still not sold on "Breathe" - the vocals work but the backing instrumentation needed something more. "Parting" is the generic filler we've been worried about, but since it's sandwiched between two of the album's best tracks I'm not too concerned. The orchestral swells that saturated Requiem appear here, but they're only used sporadically, and never as a crutch. The much-lauded "electronics" are barely there, and for me that's a good thing. I feel like I'm finally hearing Mono again, and not the reverb-soaked mess that permeates their last few offerings. Is it the most groundbreaking album in the world? Probably not. But it's a hell of a lot more than what we've been getting for the past decade, and I think that deserves some praise.

Amazon are usually pretty good at fulfilling an order even if there's a pricing error. I got Sufjan's Silver & Gold vinyl boxset for £14 as a preorder before the price went up to about £80.

I know you aren’t into the same genres as I am but you did an incredible job choosing items of my want list and recommending Slowdive and Nomads. I am slowly getting through the CDs and mixtapes when I have time in the car and enjoying them. Hope your Secret Santa gift and Christmas and New Year went well!

He's absolutely done at this point lol.. I am about halfway through and already about ready to turn it off.. His flow has become absolutely awful a lot of the time.. dude still has a lot of skill obviously but just can't make anything decent anymore imo On top of that he put the entire album on a 1lp camo picture disc.. Just horrible all around.
