To be fair I'd love a box set of all the Sparklehorse stuff that's out there. Some of its pretty hard to come by especially Dreamt For Lightyears... which as far as I'm concerned is massively under rated. The only thing that is consistently everywhere is the Sparklehorse/Danger Mouse collab which has some good stuff but also quite a lot of duds.

Those guys are so short term minded with all of their booking, let’s not scoff at one of the few long term plans they have. Some day Demon Balor will lose and it will be a huge deal, why waste it on a part time guy who is already over as a wrecking machine?

Eye roll of the year award goes to this band We Shine Every Night who randomly followed me on IG (I get like half a dozen random band follows a day lately). But I gave them a chance. As soon as I read the album title ‘All Shall Rise, All Shall Prosper’, I started feeling a little queasy. Most generic shit ever. Ugh. Well bc he was being booked to lose and they don’t want the Demon persona to lose yet. It makes perfect sense. They could have beefed it up logically a bit by having Balor boast about how he won’t even need the Demon to win or something, but they don’t really do shit with him other than have him smile like a goof.
