I hope Suede fans don't mind, but I wanted to share this and did not want to start a new thread. One of my favorite Suede-like Britpop bands, Geneva, is reissuing remastered / expanded versions of their two big albums. According to the band's Bandcamp site the LP's include 2 discs, bonus songs and a bonus 7". Both LP's are realllly cheap for pre-order from Target.com right now, and are also part of the Buy-2-Get-1-Free sale. Can't beat the price, and I love the band and the music. Suede fans who have not heard Geneva should listen asap, IMO.

Hey Vinyl Collective - I'm new to this forum, but have been collecting records for about 6 years now. If this post is in the wrong thread, please let me know! Long story short, I'm taking a UX Design bootcamp and my capstone project is to design an app that serves record collectors like us. I'm currently researching the industry and the behaviors of record collectors, so I would greatly appreciate a few minutes of your time to answer some questions. Here's a link to the survey. But that can happen at any point in their discography, no? Looking around and there’s no indicator that a swan song has to be particularly good. Everything I thought I knew was a lie – a mediocre or even bad swan song is entirely possible. Guess I lose the internet for the day. Donating my copy as punishment for my transgressions.

I haven’t seen them live since they toured the U.S. with deafheaven in 2012. It was a nice show, winterhalter kept a lit cigarette in his mouth like half the set and then Neige told the crowd it was winterhalter’s (27th I think?) birthday so the crowd sang him happy birthday and everyone there was super into it. i would love to see them also in a tiny club show like that again. edit: seeing these reactions from members about shipping delays I think I’ll just pick up a copy from my local store.
