Big fan of the simple 1-color, translucent design they've been going with. Weird splits and splatters would feel so weird with their music. If they could keep the theme going with a clear royal blue Aegis and maybe an amber Takk or something, I could die happy.

7/10 have arrived so far. Just waiting on the Yellow US Indie, Purple Blast and the standard black. Apologize for the shitty pic, but just giving a quick idea of what they all look like in reality. Edit: Added better image without glare from outers

My sky blue self titled came already. I own the 2nd edition box set and don't normally rebuy albums but this was a must. As someone who lives in the Greater Toronto Area I've seen this band back in their early days in small churches and small clubs all the way to headlining stadiums. First time I saw them they were the local opener for The Juliana Theory in Toronto in the summer of 2002. All they had was their pink heart skull demo that they were giving out for free. Definitely knew there was great things in the future for the band.

I agree that the production could be better, it sounds a little flat to my ears, not enough to really bug me though. I like the whole album, which surprises me since it's nearly 90 minutes but I don't skip any tracks. I don't know if any of the songs are "classics" just yet but I keep coming back for more listens, which I hadn't done very often with the previous 3 albums.

I like the album. It is very good in some parts. Unfortunately for me nothing has stood out, yet. For instance I can’t tell you which songs have the parts I find very good. I think the blame lies with the production. The whole album sounds so samey. I’m still considering picking it on vinyl though as I have been going back to it a lot this week.

Received the clear indie variant in the mail yesterday. Besides the shitty inner sleeves (poly and paper? wtf?) the vinyl sound great. I may upgrade to the deluxe eventually since I really like this album a lot.

This was my AOTY in 2020. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Same...not what I was hoping for from them...musically still more interesting than some, but I kept waiting for it to go next level, and it just doesn't...waiting for the next single...glad I didn't blind preorder...
