there is a huge market that is completely untapped in austin. most of the record stores specialize in either like, old rare LPs and experimental shit. the others are just top for BS that is so overpriced it will make your head spin. i really want to cater to that person that just LOVES music and really want to go above and beyond to find new music. no matter how it plays out, any record store you go to here, you are judged in one way or another for your musical taste. its upsetting to me. i want that judgment free zone. I want to be that store that carries bong ripper for that doom metal lover, but also the newest top 40 pop stuff.....sorry, I'm excited

With extra cheese? I'm a bit in two minds on this one. Buyer beware doesn't exist in peoples minds now so they think how bad can it be until they find out the hard way but If it stops people ruining their records when they've made an impulse buy of a record player with no research then good, I don't think that's the drive here though. Crosley are pandering to the criticism because they feel they have to and not for product improvement in itself, as people have said anyone who does an ounce of research is a lost sale to them so they feel they need to change that image. The problem here though is it's still very poor quality, it's easy to see which cheap Chinese deck they've used and the build quality and quality control will still be shit so it will still be pot luck as to whether it will actually track properly, yes they are better then the standard plastic rubbish but it's only slightly better plastic rubbish with some adjustments that make it look more like a proper turntable That said anything that gets people into vinyl is a good thing but Crosley and others like them are milking this bandwagon for all it's worth so our mission here people is education, education, education.

Some dumbass ran into my car and totaled it. Insurance paid for part of a replacement, but now I have a car payment. I work full time every day to try and pay that damn thing off, so I can transport myself to and from work. You seriously want me to pay for your replacement guitar? C'mon kid.

You shouldnt have a problem getting a copy. If it does happen to sell out really quick there should be more copies to go up online and there's a bunch of copies going to stores.

It's not actually Sige who runs the store (warehousing/shipping) but merchtable. That means you can place an order combining items from different stores hosted by them - Hydra Head for instance, taking advantage of same shipping rates.

Can't find the thread but like a few weeks ago some shit happened with a girl where she paid him and he made up all this crap and didn't send out the records, she asked for a refund and he said no, but finally when we all attacked him in the thread he refunded her. He's just really sketchy and i'm just warning yall. Deals have gone through with him but some have not. Plus i don't believe this whole job thing, i don't wish that on anyone but something always happens with this guy. The reason he didn't ship the records was because he was in the hospital the whole time supposedly, was in a bad accident or something..but he's on VC during that time and after? idk. There's more but yeah.
