Considering the mockup had a cool blue-in-blue (possible haze or swirl) snazzy effect going on – and it took half a fucking year to find out that it's just a generic opaque blue – I'd say it's pretty dumb, yeah.

Depends on the poster. You could just pay for a cheap reproduction to be blockmounted & then sell the original in a couple years if you think it will go up in value. The vast majority don't go up in value though. I have all my Mondo movie posters in really ornate gaudy frames. I don't see too many others doing this but I think they look cool. I'm very tacky & have crappy tastes though.

With presidential politics it's weird. I'm not registered with a party in NY state so I can't vote in the primary. I'm not sure if Hillary won the Democratic nomination that I'd vote for her since 1) she would easily win the NY state electoral vote and 2) a third party candidate might interest me more. If I lived in a swing state like Ohio or Florida, I would more than likely just feel obligated to vote for any Democratic candidate because of their electoral votes. Take away the electoral college and there would be no more such thing as a swing state.

I actually respect a business that closes on Sunday because that gives the workers one day off on the weekend and closing on Sunday is obviously bad for the bottom line, which seems like the only reason businesses do stuff.

I played DS1 closer to when it came out and could not get past Undead Burg (first real area) for the longest time. Gave up and put it down. Picked it back up a while later with new determination and loved every single second of it. Once you learn to not play it like any game you've played before, it all clicks.

I got to the first boss in DS I. Gave up after 6 tries. I will never git gud it seems.

hey friends, took a super last minute trip out to a local trail here. 5 miles out 5 miles back across a creek bed with some portions going up 100 foot bluffs and rope climbing up to the top. good shit. so glad its warming up, cant wait to get out more this spring.
