Its not too surprising a bunch of people wear their shirts at their shows. the band is pretty much well beyond playing only in front of the type of people that care about that sort of thing. i even saw a lot of parents with their kids at the popestar tour. i wouldnt be "that guy" either but these are people that dont care or even know about such a "rule."

I've had a chance to listen to this a few times through since it was released. Very impressive album. I love how even it is for all thirteen tracks. Too many albums coming out these days tend to frontload, where tracks 1-4, say, are all awesome and then the next 6 or 7 are just so bland (the new Sianvar is a great example of this) but that's not the case here. "Lowly" and "Convalesce" are probably my two tops, so far, in addition to "Flickering Flame". Very excited to get this one in the mail.

I'm actually with you. I have no problem with a person showing ID in order to vote. If anything, I actually think it might make it easier to verify your identity - although, let's be fair, there is little to no evidence that there has ever been voter fraud in a general election AND the amount of conspiracy that would have to occur in order to swing an election with fraud would be enormous. As in too enormous to hide. But I'm cool with cool with voter ID laws if 2 things happen: - We find a way to make it so easy to have an ID that it's basically impossible for a person to not possess one. - We treat voting day as a national holiday and create a federal mandate for early voting and mail in ballots that is consistent across all states. Until then, voter ID laws pretty much just exist to disenfranchise the poor.
