  1. Title Track: Four vinyl variants: Bone Transparent / Cherry Clash /200 (Sharptone Records) Clear With Black Smash (Revolver Records) Coke Bottle Clear /300 (Band Exclusive, coming at a later date) Gold /400 (Sharptone Records / Impericon) Only the gold is up for preorder through Impericon so far. It seems like they've increased their shipping prices by a lot lately, but I variant collect this band so I just grabbed it. The rest of the variants go up on Sharptone Record's website tomorrow at 1 PM EST.

  5. Mandatory buy and one of the most undernoticed albums of its time. Really, anyone on this forum who's got a sliver of interest into the overlap of hardcore/post-hardcore and emo needs to listen to this. It's amazing.

  6. Talked to Drew from Translation Loss for a bit over on instagram and he said if the sale of TNH goes well, they might press the other records.

  11. Yeah same guys, Carl Severson and co, but Ferret was bought over by Warner Music (or some other major label) hence they moved on and founded GF.

  14. Hey yall, not sure if anyone here digs the meme adjacent metal bands. But I think this one is a goodie, been waiting for a repress for quite a while now! Four variants at the moment, some are sold out unless you grab them in a bundle. Have fun! 21. I'm super hyped for these guys to sell that many copies after 8 years. There's plenty of time to put a second pressing order in lol

  22. Talked to Paypal on the phone today after getting hit with one of these. They said as long as youre shipping to the address on the buyer's account and can provide the delivered tracking confirmation you should be covered under the Seller Protection. Dispute was resolved with no loss on our end luckily

  25. What would compel you to feel that way? Just curious. Unless you're McPherson, black vinyl is considered serviceable but definitely the "boring" choice around these here parts – assuming there is a choice, of course. (Oh, and what they don't tell you is that the G in 180g stands for gimmick. Wish we still had spoiler tags so I could mask that.) I really don't see what it has going for it over the other choices, myself.

  27. Yo! I'm Alex and I play guitar in LURK. Just came across this thread and appreciate the share/kind words (and thanks Ian for all the help with everything! Vinyl layouts/merch are looking DOPE.) Appreciate the shout for NextLevel, all of us in the band have been big Gildan guys over the years (maybe due to all the Gildan hardcore shirts we own) but I can pass the suggestion along for sure. Not to be a pusher of product, but as a fellow vinyl/audiophile, I'm pretty stoked with how our test presses came out and I think you will dig. Brad Boatright (mastering engineer) kicks major ass especially when it comes to vinyl/analog mastering. Def my preferred way to listen to this record. Looking forward for y'all to hear it in full and I'm sure we'll have some more content along the way. Cheers! Alex

  29. Man, I hope so. I would love to see The Banner's "Each Breath Haunted" get a proper, non-pic disc pressing someday. Considering their last LP and EP were on Good Fight, I really have my hopes up.

  31. VIP List... ______________________________________ Thank you for your order of the Facelift Deluxe Box Set. We appreciate your patience as we’ve worked hard to perfect this box set for you. It has taken longer than we anticipated, and we apologize for this inconvenience. Current update: the box sets have left the production facility and are in transit via sea freight to the US warehouse, and we expect to deliver it to customers in August. We’re happy it’s getting to the finish line, and can’t wait for you to see it. As a thank you for your unwavering support, you have been added to AIC’s “VIP list” to get first access to special offers and exclusive releases before the rest of the public. We also wanted to share some behind the scenes production pictures showing elements of the box set. You are the first to see these. This deluxe edition 12-inch box features the seminal album on double 12” picture disc vinyl with zoetrope animation on all four sides. The gatefold vinyl jacket is printed on reflective metallic stock, and comes with a custom slip mat, 24-inch poster, four photo prints, the album on cassette, a sticker sheet, a recreation of an original tour laminate, and four clear transparencies which combine to reveal an alternate cover image. The crown jewel of this deluxe edition is an 80-page hardbound book with foil stamped cover, featuring Facelift-era images from photographer Rocky Schenck, background behind the record and early days of the scene as described by each band member, and more. ---- quoted from email this morning

  32. So I totally forgot about wanting to compare the Loveless pressings. My digital LP finally came, so I compared the Plain, the 2018 MBV AAA pressing and the 2021 Domino digital. I did this blind because I thought it would be the most fair. To no ones surprise, clearly the Shields cuts are superior to the Plain. Plain sounds very good for being CD sourced, but you can tell the soundstage wasn’t as robust as it is on the 2018 AAA and the 2021 Digital. The lows also sounded better on the Shields cuts. The Shields cuts were also cut a bit quieter than the Plain, which I don’t mind. surprisingly, I could tell very little difference between the 21 digital and the 18 AAA. I have some pretty good gear (VPI HW19 with Grado Gold, Marantz 2270 and some vintage Polk bookshelfs), so maybe with something better or some great cans I could tell them apart. I think if you had to settle for the digital pressing, I wouldn’t sweat it unless the knowledge of it not being all analog as well has having a kick ass tip on sleeve is gonna eat at you. If you have a Plain pressing, I think it’s worth the upgrade, even the cheaper digital pressing.
