I think Relapse Records has been doing that for years, too. “Friends and family” pressses /100 for every release, with specific instructions to not request a clear variant with each order. Kind of silly. And boring, for being the coveted variant time after time.

I just find it hard to believe when members say everything they buy shows up damaged. My collection is larger than most and it's also around a 90/10 online/retail split. I've had 3 records get destroyed in 12 years of collecting I just don't get what the fuck is happening for the world to pick on you people.
