  2. I love how Jim edited all his original posts where he was arguing that he had the inside scoop and these were originals that were found but now has completely changed the story. So please tell us that inside scoop you had

  3. I’ve bought multiple copies of things before when the second copy was a gift or part of a group buy with a board member. It may sound like a myth but, like, it happens man. I typically gift my brother Waxwork soundtracks for Christmas so I usually buy doubles then, too. But then again, I do make him pay me double. And he has to buy it off me via Discogs.

  8. saw the new Insidious movie yesterday and its solid. probably the best since the first one. the main "demon" is cool, connected some dots and left it where they could do more in the future... also the showed the trailer for "truth or dare" which looks horrible but they showed "a quiet place" which looks solid, so I'm stoked on that one.

  10. All the last sold for that yelawolf on ebay have been for between 120-219 dollars. So you want 2 to 3.5x more than the going rate... good luck with that...

  11. I don't say too much around here. But I am a little exhausted with your whining to/complaining about the mods. Maybe you should volunteer to help out since you obviously have this internet thing all figured out.

  14. "In some ways, being a touring musician is a lot like being an anthropologist. In traveling from city to city, you spend a lot of time interacting with strangers, whether it's checking into the latest motel or stopping by a local watering hole for a drink after the show. You quickly pick up on how the shared quirks of a few small-town bartenders may actually tell a much larger story than a couple minutes of small talk initially reveal, or how the relationship squabbles overheard in the hotel lobby late at night share similar themes regardless of geographic locale. Accordingly, touring is also a great way to find material for new songs. Courtney Marie Andrews did just that when writing her forthcoming album May Your Kindness Remain, a collection of songs, borne from interactions with others, that strives for healing and empathy in the midst of division and discord" Release date: March 23 via Fat Possum Preorder: Desert Rose Vinyl -> https://store.fatpossum.com/products/may-your-kindness-remain First single:

  15. Was there a second press of Mustard Plug? The one I ordered last month for 9.98 on amazon was yellow. More people got the same in the amazon deal thread.

  16. I can kinda see your point on this but if anyone is true on the horror train, rob is definitely one of the top. his interviews when he talks about being a kidand finding horror stuff is cool. house of 1000 corpses to me is a great homage to old b horror movies, and then he went toward his "studio" movies stage which I think he had limits put on him, thats why he crowdfunded 31 to basically do what he wanted. he did a pretty cool podcast with mick garris with some great stories.

  19. It was definitely a fun watch, but honestly it was probably my least favorite film of his. My 3rd favorite film of his behind Devils Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses. I love it.

  21. I PM'd him and bought all the records for $10,000. In your face, haters. JK. I'm a Mustard Plug fan and just wanted to pop in and say I don't know why people think that yellow Evildoer's Beware is so rare or valuable. I mean I love the album and love my $10 copy I bought new on Amazon like a month ago but I think 1 person on Discogs priced it super high for like a year with no other sellers (or sales) and then people assumed that was the value. Interesting when that happens to a random 90s ska band you like.

  27. Yes!!! Seriously hyped for Nothing Lasts... if I don't manage to get a copy in time I will cry. It's a shame there's no plan for the Lasts Days Of Gravity repress soon, that album is really something special.

  31. First of all this is great! Is it possible to factor in the marketplace too? I know that if you have prime (which I can't have) the price can't be beaten, but most of the time the actual record price is cheaper there. Also would be lovely to have an amazon uk version.

  35. Like what? Realistic? As in a stranger is not going to go pick him up a record at cost? I mean they are one per person so if the person, so you can't buy extras to help someone out. So he is asking someone who isn't interested to stand in the cold snow for possibly hours to buy him something at cost that the seller could just as easily sell on ebay for $200.....best of luck finding a stranger willing to do that.
