Thanks for your comment. Hello nancy_raygun, I want to keep this topic about the sale of the vinyl case but I guess it is a curious and interesting situation so I will tell you. A couple months ago I received a letter being congratulated on my winning of the Jamaican lottery that an anonymous friend had entered me in when on vacation. But since I am not in Jamaica they said that I would have to cover the transfer fees of the winnings to my bank. I thought it would be a fast digital transfer so I cleared out a couple thousands in savings to cover the fees to make myself a millionaire shortly after. With bad luck there keeps being issues from their computers chasing, to delays, to bad weather, to my bank being conspicuous and blocking the transfer, to someone pretending to be me and claim the winnings there, and so on. So now jobless and living in my friends closet I am very tight of space and dough. So selling this should hold me over until the transfer comes through and I can come out of this closet and live it up. Thanks for your comment.

Ha, might be fun to read no matter what I think of the show I didn't watch one last night (little too boozed up for something heady), so I'll probably knock out a few today. I've liked the 3 I have watched for the most part. The mysteries are enjoyable without being irritating and I don't feel like the show is trying to 'trick' me like some other mystery based shows (cough westworld cough).

It's the single most on-the-nose pretentious thing I think I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. If it was only the electronic parts, it would be passable background music at best, but the mechanical spoken word was grating and too obviously trying to make a statement that I felt offended by the music while I endured its runtime.

In a similar boat, took the New Years weekend off work before this surfaced so there's no chance I can swing this. I was fortunate to catch Phil solo back home in Sydney on what was technically the Clear Moon / Ocean Roar tour but instead he played some kind of bizarro set list of Microphones / early Mount Eerie songs and it was amazing. This year I got an awesome package, courtesy of @scottheisel. I got records from Toe, The Felix Culpa, The Black Heart Procession, Sainthood Reps, and Helen Earth Band; all continuing the tradition of me getting records from bands I recognize the name of but never listened to. He wrote an awesome breakdown of each record, which I didn't include in the above picture, but it got me really excited to listen to each of them. I've only listened to Toe so far, but I really enjoyed it. I just so happen to also not already have the Color Spectrum DVD, so that was an awesome catch and it will be great to finally be able to watch. The Steel Train promo photo is hilarious, and it just made me realize that if I had seen the band members before I listened to their music, there's no way I would have ever given it a chance because Jack looks absolutely ridiculous. The aughts were a rough time I guess. Thanks, Scott. Getting a package from you feels like getting a package from a celebrity and I am very grateful. Happy new year!
