Actually quite happy with this. It was a legit fun soundtrack and i’d rather have this instead of an obscure 80’s horror movie. But to each it’s own i guess :-).3 points -

Seems that there are also the increasingly standard "indie" and HMV variants and exclusives too: HMV (white LP + orange 12") https://store.hmv.com/search-results?searchtext=noel gallagher's high who built&searchmode=allwords Indie (white LP) http://www.normanrecords.com/records/167477 EDIT: oh, and the album is called "Who Built The Moon?" not "Who Build The Moon"1 point -
btw, if anyone else ordered TVW from the NIN store, my package arrived today (despite never receiving a shipping notice). it was packed in a regular mailer and wrapped in bubblewrap (mailed from Texas, as I recall). if it wasn't for the fact that I was also able to get a copy from Best Buy for $14, I think I'd be ~fully satisfied with this Sandbag experience.1 point

Echoing a few others here. To me, the opening track (Small Hours) really gives this album the right to live in your car and never leave. This is driving music defined. I really can’t wait to spin this, because it’s going to take me on numerous road trips without ever leaving the house during cold winter evenings.1 point

anyone ever had LASIK?
njpunkmusic reacted to harryq for a topic
I don't really remember how things looked before lasik, so I don't remember if it's worse than when I had glasses. But yes, the night halos are still there. On a lighter note, I remember how I had just started playing Guitar Hero when I had lasik -- I had to use eye drops between every song because I wouldn't really blink while playing and my eyes would get super dry. Re: Etchings; I think its just a way that labels try to beautify a side that would otherwise be blank when the music won't fit on 2 sides but doesn't need more than 3. As far as NPR is concerned, I feel they have in general an acceptably humane leaning with less bias than any other news source I've received. It may have been a reach to mention the Burzum thing but I don't find any problem in it. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to remind the audience where someone stands especially if its important enough to the artist to make it clear the first time. Maybe it was the writer's dilemma to use real examples of their featured artist's history to make the genre association clear but also to retain the political separation between the artist being discussed and one of the examples of said artists' source of genre influence. And not to stir shit, but I always feel a bit uneasy when people express an intimidation to what they call Social Justice Warriors. I can agree that there is a level of political correctness that goes too far technically and only serves to hinder a supposed SJW's ability to properly identify and keep tabs on its antagonists but if the way in which someone insults another is by referring to them as a SOCIAL JUSTICE warrior, what is it about social justice that makes that person uneasy? It just seems like its goes against a basic level of decency in humanity to have such an issue with social justice, whether its propagated by so-called "warriors" of that cause or not. I guess I'm saying it doesn't bode well to put such a negative slant on such a phrase.1 point -
MORE HORROR SECTION!
TooManyHumans..... reacted to gutzonborglum for a topic
So I think I'm ready to let go of my Horror Section collection. I just don't have the space anymore so I'm going to try and downgrade a lot off my collection. I've got all three pressings of The Prowler 7", as well as the special screen printed box set for the release /30, containing all three pressings. I have a test press for their split with Eastern Back To Life, as well as the regular press, and all colors for the first two pressings of Season Of The Witch.1 point -
