  1. Good day folks! Haven't been by to check in lately. Going back to work and getting a normal life back sure is distracting. Hope everyone is doing well. I keep downloading stuff you post on Instagram @GHOSTDRONES, and I am running that Piano Nights album on infinite repeat! Such a wonderful background for late evenings for sure... Hope everyone has a great week!

  2. Yeah. Lack of advertising is absolutely the reason these aren't flying off the shelves.

  4. So I've gone over a year without much in the way of prospects as far as jobs go, and now this week I have not only an interview in Seattle, but a phone interview as well for a job in Denver with a company I used to work for... I don't know what to make of this.

  5. Really proud we made it 8 pages before declaring RSD over for the 6th year in a row. I look forward to doing it again next year.

  8. La Banquise has vegan poutine. The Reservoir may as well, I know they do nachos. There is a real decent group of vegan eats up there for sure.

  18. I saw them on Friday with Iron Reagan. Both bands were fucking great. I was lame and stood in the back and drank beer but the pits remind me of pits from yester year. Also Iron Reagan had the band press of the new record for people who care.

  19. I saw it last night at 1030, so it was packed. People were losing their shit during the 3rd act. It was a lot of fun and very well made.

  20. That shit scented South Park record from 2016 seemed like a good indicator.

  21. So this is... the prettiest song I've heard all year. I'm in for whatever the most expensive and limited bundle is for this album, because I'm a whore for Alt-J.

  22. I have a smartbulb right above my turntable and it causes a really annoying hum through my speakers if it's on. So, as much as I love smart bulbs avoid them in this situation.

  25. Unrelated : anyone have good suggestions for turntable lighting? The area around mine is fairly dark and I just need some mild light. I was thinking rope lighting or something, but I dunno.

  31. I'm interested in Vic Chesnutt's West of Rome pressing, if true. They seem to be real into pressing/reissuing his stuff now that he's dead. But I see nothing else even remotely desirable so far. Of course I would make my first post in a Record Store Day thread. How embarrassing.

  33. We've just found a handful of Galactic Melt 2xLPs in our UK warehouse! As in, original not Redux! Last of the bunch here, and open to all customers (not just UK/International). As of last week, we've opened up our International Shop to US folks. Offerings are largely the same, although some stock exists over there that didn't or doesn't in the US (I.e. In Decay (sold out now though), some books, tees, etc.) Grab that here.

  35. In the movie Argo, someone at the US Embassy put on Led Zeppelin IV and my favourite song When The Leevee Breaks starts playing, which is totally annoying since it is the last song of the b-side of the LP and you can clearly see then put the needle on the outside of the record.

  36. Sorry, been away for the weekend. It's arrived...but sat with a neighbour who is now away for a few days too! So I haven't had hold of it yet. As soon as I do I'll let you know what it is.

  37. Fuck yeah. So psyched for tomorrow. Went with the wife tonight and sat in the balcony and it was great. Going with some buds tomorrow, and I'm not driving, gonna try and get a good spot on the floor and get a little loose.

If you've never seen Evangelion, then that first. Then Berserk, then Samurai Champloo. A few of those are on my watch list as well so I can't comment yet.
