QOTSA’s Songs For The Deaf coming next month. https://www.vinylmeplease.com/magazine/vinyl-me-please-queens-of-the-stone-age/ “Our November Essentials Record of the Month is the White Whale, the record people have been asking about basically as soon as we pressed our first exclusive Record of the Month: Queens of the Stone Age’s Songs for the Deaf. Our special edition will come on colored vinyl, pressed at Pallas, and we’ll tell you about more details when we officially launch this title in late October. These will be shipped starting in the first two weeks of November.”2 points -

No doubt Soft Bulletin is amazing. I'd go so far as to say it's my favorite album from them. They really fell off for me post-At War With The Mystics, so I'm not a huge fan any more, but the earlier stuff is great. Long story short, I'm with shlebs on this one.1 point -

I think they're trying to make the point that you should sign up now because they might not be available next month. If sign up now you'll get Flaming Lips this month and Songs for the Deaf next month.1 point -

I mean would anyone care if Interpunk just ceased to exist ? Like thanos snapped his fingers with the gauntlet and it just never existed in the first place . Just a horrible horrible company who steals money from not only customers but bands themselves .1 point -

Sorry to not fully understand this, but could someone clarify for me please? I currently have the ability to re-up and get the month-to-month subscription. Do you think if I don't do it this month for Soft Bulletin that I won't be able to re-up as month-to-month next month for SFTD? I don't want Soft Bulletin and I don't want to do a 3-month sub, but do want SFTD.1 point -

Yeah I've listened to my copy a few times and flipped through the book and in the right lighting it's not that hard, but it can be hard. If anything, it'll just force me to do what vinyl is for and sit down and listen and read along.1 point

I just had to file a claim with SRC because they legit just stopped responding. I ordered the TIN pressing from them back in April. After the release date came and went with no record I reached out - the first email they did respond to, but basically it was just a snarky email that told me to "just relax, it's coming"... but also, how about some communication? Basic principles of customer service? Fast forward to now, a month and a half after the August 16 shipping date - the record is now backordered, and I have seen/heard nothing... and now no response from the company whatsoever. Lesson learned - avoid SRC at all costs - I just want my got dam HUM LP!1 point

Had my Bleep order come through US customs via Aramex, who then handed the package off to FedEx . But because my mailing address is a PO box, FedEx couldn't deliver. They kept leaving me messages, but when I called them back, they'd claim to have no record of any package for me (probably because it was a 2nd-party hand-off, which I didn't know at the time). This happened 3 times, and then my package was returned to Aramex for shipment back to the UK 😕 Finally figured all this out last night, and called Aramex in New York this morning, not with high hopes. The third rep I spoke with said it was a good thing I called, because my package hadn't shipped out yet, and that they'd try to redeliver! I'm not holding my breath, but it seems that there's at least a slim chance it'll actually arrive one of these days... Whole thing is kind of ridiculous, though. Bleep sends the packages via DPD, who give them to Aramex, who give them to FedEx, and every company involved has their own tracking number. Meanwhile, I only have the original DPD number, which means nothing to either of the companies in my country.0 points
