  1. Getting back on topic: This album is so good.

  2. Might seem silly but I was totally into this before the preorder dropped and after seeing how the band and Smartpunk responded to everything, their attitude toward their fans, not being transparent and changing things up after the fact...it didn't sit well with me. So I canceled my preorder, and I feel great about that decision.

  7. If it received a higher score or BNM, would you have gotten down on your knees to give the album a hummer?

  8. They compared the riffage to the "alt-rock" stylings of Collective Soul. So, was I wrong? It's a great album, but still a bit butty in places.....don't act so butt-hurt about it.

  9. The mark of a good pop-punk/nostalgia reissue label or shop is having the serenity to accept your terrible and annoying customers, the courage to help your good customers who have reasonable complaints and support needs, and the wisdom to know the difference.

  10. It’s probably random. ...that’s why I bought 250 of them. For the board. 😐

  12. I like that they went for an opaque marble vinyl for the first press of The Lost Sea, to be consistent with the first press of the trilogy. If that was planned, I assume a second press would be clear w/ splatter, whenever that may happen.

  14. Ordered. The email from the band announcing the 7" says that the first 250 orders will be signed. So which is it?!?!? LOL.

  18. If every new indie shop/site undercuts the previous one by 97 cents, eventually we’ll be able to buy this baby for free.

  21. Once someone starts talking about dropping three digits on Train LPs then i’ll know that I've found my summer thread. I’m in for the long haul on this one.

  22. Of course there will be. Blink is selling this directly and they love milking their back catalog lol. I missed picking a copy too but I'm not sweatin' it, this isn't gonna be a one off thing. None of their modern vinyl pressings are.

  29. I remember when Deep Elm proclaimed the gold would be the be all end all last pressing. They even sold the metal mother master discs used to press the vinyl . I was luckily enough to snag Side D way back then. Somehow dumb young me not only kept it, but left it in decent enough shape through the years and now it hangs as my 'vinyl mantle' centerpiece. Hope the other mothers are fairing as well.

  30. Best comment of 2020. Also, this isn’t a Used / Blink / Creed thread, so leave the shit posts out of it, people. Hum deserves better.

  32. recently— Magnolia Record Club. They have members only variants. Im not a member but i emailed them asking if a certain one would be sold to the public. They said the extras would be up “shortly”. Well it sold out in minutes. I missed it. Told them thanks anyway. They wrote back and said they were going to make sure that i got one. They had cancelled a few orders from flippers who bought too many. We tried to time it a few times where they’d add one to the store and theyd email me (it sold out everytime it was added). Finally we got it on the third attempt when they added five copies. They are amazing. https://magnoliarecord.store/
