  1. Got mine today (EU). 10/10 for how they shipped this, I ordered both standard and collectors editions and both come sandwiched in cardboard with plastic corner ding protectors. And as if that wasn't enough, it's inside a cruciform mailer that's then wrapped in bubble wrap. Anyway, the record packaging is again just the loveliest thing. I don't want to spoil it but there's loads of lovely touches. I find the third sleeve with the paper stuff in it a bit meh, maybe it could've just been a big 12x12 booklet instead but that's a minor issue on something otherwise so well executed. The records look great, love that the side a/b splatter looks different on each side. On a quick sound comparison, there's not much of a sound quality difference between the single and 2xLP edition apart from more sides flipping per 10 seconds of music. I'm sure someone can tell you how you can hear the crystal clarity of badger breathing on track 6 or some shit, but truth be told it sounds like the bass is deeper which gives everything else room in the mix. The single lp bass is rounded out a little and feels more set with everything else in the mix. Neither are bad pressings, both sound fantastic. I didn't think all those years ago, when I bought Ten Stories on a whim, that mwY would become a band I loved this much to own a whole discography and it's great to have it complete, along with the bank notice to reclaim my home.

  2. I'm really looking forward to getting this. It's all Crazy... doesn't seem to get much love, but it's honestly one of my favorite mwY records.

  3. Same. 18 year old me is so pleased I finally get to own a copy of this record. When I got into it, the first press was long gone, so I gave up looking for a while. Then the hot topic presses came and went in a flash when I wasn’t looking and were instantly $250. Then came the copies in those fucking box sets weighed down with so much dog shit that I would never want. Now, finally, I can retire this search. Gonna spend the 200 bucks I saved on a nice bottle of Lagavulin and a couple packs of Captain Blacks.

Props to ETR for knowing their audience, I've got to hand it to them. Next up in their line of OSTs for sugar-fueled 11 year-olds throwing tantrums until mom fetches the credit card...

  11. This is correct. In 2019, Craft issued the remastered TAYF on iridescent green and black at the same time. They also facilitated the reissues of the Warner Bros. records all on black. The only album left out was WYWTB for some reason. I have Victory pressings of the first two albums from the mid 2010s - neither of them sound bad. They’re just fine. TAYF needed a remaster (or remix) to get rid of that high pitched squeal on the vocal track, but the Craft pressing didn’t even achieve that, so it’s pointless. WYWTB doesn’t need a full remaster, maybe just a couple tweaks for the vinyl format would be nice. Finally, I don’t know why people need represses of any of these albums. There’s tens of thousands of them out there, and they were $15 up until this year. It’s like as soon as something goes out of print, people freak out and it demands a repress. No wonder plants are backed up until 2022.

  12. Grabbed both. Hopefully they don't do color versions later and immediately devalue these.

  13. Popaganda for $25 is still too high in my opinion. Bring it down again, and I'll probably bite. Need to complete that Daryl Palumbo LP collection.

  26. I believe it’s “Butter Miracle, Suite One” (which doesn’t exactly make any more sense, just noting it for the record) with Suite Two to follow and make up the whole “Butter Miracle” album. The Butter Miracle picture they have shared is grade A nightmare fuel and one of the worst things I’ve ever seen (if I was braver I would post it, but I’m not so I won’t), but the new song is pretty good, if you like Somewhere Over Wonderland (I did) and the Rolling Stone description of Suite One sounds pretty intriguing.

  27. Cool video of the guys looking back at the production process - inside look of the work and creativity that went into the album. Wish bands did more videos like this.

  28. I’ve been buying and selling for 21 years. You’re all wrong about everything. Vinyl is neither growing nor shrinking, neither slow and steady nor booming. Vinyl simply is.

  30. I’m also personally not really into celebrity/band worship these days. Bands and artists achieve some pretty cool stuff and 20 years is a worthy milestone but these are normal people who happen to be in a successful band and it feels weird having giant font quotes of very important things they’ve said in a huge book on my coffee table. They’re my favorite band but I don’t want post-COVID guests to think I idolize their members. Lol.

  31. Not worth that ugly $120 book, especially after paying $33 for the silent version of the Microphones in 2020 which is just about as elaborate if not more so.

  32. Cruisin’ California feels like a post-2010 Aquabats b-side. In fact, it’s kind of sus that Dexter couldn’t have called fellow SoCal resident (at the time) MC Bat Commander to do a rap about booties over the bridge.
