Dang, between the red and the Newbury gold I kinda regretting jumping on the black so fast. It's hard sometimes to talk myself out of chasing all the cool colors even when I know it literally does not matter at all. I'm in a financial position where I'm not banking on the eventual resell value of my collection, and I'm probably never going to sell it anyway, I'm just chasing that infinitesimal dopamine boost that occurs when I pull it out of the sleeve and see pretty color. Dumb brain!

I have listened to this song so much. I hold the opinion that Julien is the best singer/songwriter alive and this song doesn’t change that. I absolutely can’t wait for this.

Oh, wow! Heard this album the day it dropped and didn't know you had a hand in it. My buddy and I agreed that it sounds like a new, energetic TVOTR. So damn good! Congrats! I missed the previous variants. Would kill to get a copy without having to wait for this December pressing.

$70 was for all 4 records, not just this one. A little pricey at $15ish per record, but not horrible. Especially considering they are selling for over $100 on ebay for the one record alone.

I just got notification that my HHV order shipped today. I ended up getting one from SRC as well, but haven't received anything on that one yet, though the release date they listed isn't until tomorrow.

They could've easily done a 12" with so impossible on one side, summers kiss on the other. put each cover on one side of the jacket. do a blue/orange split LP. $20. Knowing Chris, the spiderman thing was the bridge for it to make since for mondo to press these. Isn't vindicated on LP3? i assume that'll get a reissue at some point.

I'd never seen that, but I'm such a sucker for that style of 'documentary'. I'd watched that and have absolutely no memory of it. Usually means it wasn't so bad that I hated it and wasn't good enough that it left any sort of positive impression (or I feel asleep during it).

Finally got around to starting some horror movies last night. Started with We Are Still Here on Amazon Prime based on the fact that I didn't have a lot of time and it's 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it didn't really connect for me. I got the ALS AAA myself yesterday, played it twice already. It was the best I've heard the album, I have not heard an original stereo but I have heard an original mono. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys this album to pick up a copy, not sure how many more times this is going to get cut from tape.

I wouldn't say it's rude or disrespectful unless they replace the existing record and remove it from streaming and such. Keep in mind Solid State probably sold the rights for this record and pressing it could be too expensive to make it worth getting the rights and they rerecorded in order to press it again out of affordability. Also maybe they got Josh's blessing?
