That looks like a heavy duty Stoughton tip on jacket too. Pay $20 more for a much thinner wide spine single pocket jacket with a fucking piece of paper insert and ugly variant because it's more limited... Jack White should seriously feel shitty about ripping people off that way. You'd think him of all people would at least try to not make it so obvious he didn't start up a pressing plant to improve the industry but to milk it even more.

I got 3 of the 4 so I hope they're the right ones. I have no room in my bag though(and 5 flights in the next week) so they are going to ship once they can get the arcade fire for me next week. Discogs.com is slowly building up their RSD 2018 inventory list. I would expect most of the 2018 releases to be online by tomorrow morning. Here's a place to discuss the ONLINE aspects of Record Store Day 2018. I think it's OK here to discuss things like: 1) Online dealers and their on-sale times and offers; 2) Ebay and Discogs listings and completed sales; 3) Short Wants Lists in case other VC members spot them. As for me, I have spent the last several RSD's online. Each time, I usually have 3 or 4 items I want. I have found it just as fulfilling (if that's the right word) to shop and interact online as opposed to standing outside in the cold dawn hours and wait in a line. This year is a little different for me: I had 22 wants on my list, but 8 of the 22 were UK items only (including the four scarce Sigur Ros LP's, which are going to be made available to USA customers at the XL Recordings website at 10:00AM EST on Monday, April 23). I decided I had to go out and wait in line with that many items on my list, but I have already found four of my USA wants at attractive near-market prices on Ebay and Discogs and so I have bought those online. I think I am going to stay home again and do the online thing! Amoeba.com has already posted their online info: they plan to offer their unsold RSD product online at 8:00AM EST on Sunday morning, April 22.

Maybe you two can take a walk together? In any case, can this be more about record releases than trying to clown each other? I know it's VC and all, but the bitching back and forth is starting to outnumber the record posts. What record is everyone waiting for next?

eBay is fine for finding RSD releases, but shopping for RSD releases on eBay on RSD weekend is a terrible idea. Resist the urge and wait a few weeks and the prices will be much more reasonable.

I always find this funny when someone asks for something specific using abbreviations like this on a day with a hundred new releases. The people who know what it stands for are probably looking for it too and the ones that don't care won't be able to grab you a copy if they see it because they don't know what it is...

1234 in Oakland had 3 or 4 of each. I grabbed one of each myself and I was fourth in so who knows if they will have any left. I was stoked to get that and the Tim Armstrong and happy to see the sucker punch soundtrack as I walked out. I thought that was only a UK release.

SF store has tons at 4pm local time! My lungs finally opened up so I left the house as I was going stir crazy and ended up grabbing quite a few that were not on my list. Very excited! Thanks to your staff for being so helpful also since I can't reach the top shelf from my chair! I would have loved to come out this morning but so glad I stopped by. Excellent work on your order as I saw a lot of stuff my friend got for me back east. Shocked to see them still available but glad to see you had ample stock! Anyway, there should be a decent amount available for those looking to order online.

No less useless than your request, actually. Check Discogs or sit tight while small shops put their overstock online. That’s your best bet for now. If there were actually reasonably priced RSD titles “at cost” on eBay, you’d be able to find them in sale history. (Go on and look that up and let me know what you find.) You also wouldn’t be poising such a dumb question in the thread because the answer would be fairly obvious.

Amoeba SF was one of the easiest experiences ever just wanted The National Live @ Brussels, they had 5 copies out at open. the line around the block took less then 5 minutes to get through

I know little of the series having only seen some footage of the old ones and watched reviews, but it seems unanimously agreed that Kratos is finally a realized character, fleshed out and dynamic, and not a one-note action hero. In that sense I would say he’s changed quite a bit, and for the better.
