Chris from NS is always tweeting and instagraming about watching movies that are in between the theaters and DVD/bluray market. He's obviously not looking to hook somebody up, since he is in dire need of cash and selling one of the most sought after records on this site. Either put up a price, or put it on ebay. There are easier ways than saying "Send me your offers" No one is going to offer $500. Asking for offers is going to yield you just as many $100 offer PMs as "How much are you looking for?" PMs. He's not going to sell it for $100. So just say you want $250 or $300 or whatever the number is.

I have more friends on here than I do in real life, so I wanted to share the awesome news. I've mentioned in a couple of threads on here that I work in a call center. I started at the bottom of the barrel, and have busted my ass for the last couple of years trying to advance through the company. For the past 9 months, I've been working as a supervisor and I've consistently been at the top of the totem pole. The hard work has finally paid off. I've been offered a position as a Operations Manager at a brand new site in Colorado Springs, and I've decided to accept the offer. The thing I am most exicted about is that I will be working for a new client: Microsoft Xbox! Got this in the mail today. It's definitely not a shoegazer album. I Don't Mean to Wonder is not indicative of the overall album's sound. It's nothing compared to Slowdive which was far more about controlled feedback and loud. That said, it's a good album. More space rock than anything. Dancey at times. It'll be a grower for me.

Im not so much a collector. I used to be a touring merch guy. Ended up with a lot of vinyl because of it. I still travel a lot and pick up records where ever I can. I havent stood still long enough to purchase a proper shelving unit for my collection or even a decent record player yet. Ive got my eyes on a pro-ject debut carbon turn table once I move into a house that doesnt share a wall with my neighbors. I must say that most of the pictures posted here are awesome. Some of you really put in some time, effort, and cash into your set ups and man caves and hang out spots. Im very impressed and I strive to turn this into a killer set up. It's that you bought it specifically to flip that people won't like. It's one thing to buy it, realize you don't need/want it, throw it in eBay with a reasonable starting price and just wind up getting a lot and another to buy specifically to sell for profit. Nobody likes flippers around here, so you should probably keep that shit to yourself.

I really dug that movie, I second the recommendation. I spend my three days off staying home, so I blew through some movies this week. The Conjuring, Monsters University, The Innkeepers, Pontypool and The House of the Devil. I think I'm going to have a pretty slow night at work too, so I'll probably watch something tonight as well.

Streaming on Netflix right now is the ABCs of Death. Short films for each letter of the alphabet which go by quick. Most are enjoyable but I think it's worth watching for the letter L alone. Pretty brutal. Beyond the Black Rainbow is really good too and is streaming on Netflix. Lynchian & Altered States 80s throwback from a couple years ago that's pretty cool.

Wow I consider this his most perfect album to date. I hear elements of everything he's ever done but it all still sounds new and fresh. It definitely took a couple listens to really grasp how good it is though. I love the whole flow of the album, with "weather front" being like a 5 part movie. forbenator, I'd for sure start here. I think it's a quintessential Cloudkicker album. Perfectly sums up all his prior work. Find what elements of this you like best & then you can probably pick & choose previous albums based on that.

Watching the Coyotes skate all over the flyers is pathetic. Laviolette wasn't the issue the issue is the abysmal team Holmgren has assembled.

I think it was a great move but i can say from playing pretty much my whole life if i was on the Rangers in a blowout game like that and some new kid pulled that kind of move i would be pretty pissed. Its kind of disrespectful to your opponent, its basically laughing in their face and not taking them seriously. He just as easily could have deeked or picked his spot. Good on him for being able to pull it off and i guess if you're gonna do that in a game then late in a blow out is better than say a tied game. I dont hate it but i can absolutely see why some people would be mad about it. I think it is good for the game to have creativity like that though.

I'm in the process of moving in to a new place in Massachusetts. Here's what I have going now. I'm missing about 200 or so 12" records that are still boxed up, waiting for me to make enough $ to buy one more 5 compartment Expedit. Once I get the additional storage I'm hoping to figure out a way to de-clutter this all a little bit.

It's not the changing speed that will wear out or stretch the belt. On a belt drive turntable the belt wear is on startup while the motor tries to spin that heavy platter, in the drive chain something has to give and the belt is the weakest point and that's why they stretch so if you want them to last longer give the platter a helping spin before you start the motor

No record costs 100$. This is exactly what scares me about doing this. It rattles me that a 7" can be 50$ and 1 record can be 100$. People need to realize that they can make a profit while still keeping a fair price. It's a record, not a Taylor Swift ticket. Nothing to you I appreciate the help though man!

I don't think you know what inference means.. but anyway... I have no problem with people asking for offers. And that's great that he was kind to you when you lowballed him. But that's not the issue I'm addressing, you must realize that? Refusing to answer "How much are you looking for?" PMs is my issue... If he knew enough to know that your offer was a lowball, then he knows enough of a range of what he is looking for. So take the least you'd want, add $50 to it and put that price up. You'll make a sale a lot faster with people offering $50 less than your asking price than you will with people blindly guessing with absolutely no guidelines... EDIT: It really doesn't matter, and I hope you're not mad, because I am not. People can sell their personal property any way they would like, and there's nothing you or I can say about it to change that. I was just offering my two cents.

There is so much inference in everything you said it's not even funny. Nowhere did he mention not wanting lowballs. In fact, I lowballed the crap out of him and got a really sincere honest reply which I appreciated. When people need cash they tend to sell stuff for a lot less than they could if they waiting a little longer and looked for the right buyer, that's why pawn shops exist. He may not be looking to "hook somebody up" but he may be looking for an offer that will cover whatever he needs the cash for but may not be what the same amount a 7 day ebay auction would bring.

If you are in "serious need of cash" then just say what you want for them.
