  10. I would have to agree with you there! There is an Enya 12-inch want. But the thing is STILL $30 USD plus shipping with the coupon. I know that thing was around $10-$15 back in the day, but I missed it.

  19. Well, that's your opinion. It has an old school vibe to me, and those are the words I chose to describe it. I didn't say it sounded like the first thing they (he) put out. I didn't say it sound liked S/T, or Pocketwatch. I said it had an old school vibe (cause that album is 13, almost 14 years old). That's almost 3/4 of the band's lifespan. One by One being the album they put a million dollars into, then scrapped, and then re-recorded has nothing to do with the reason I chose to say 'old school'. I meant it as in earlier (since that's the literal definition). Geez. Music is personal, and subjective. I can interpret, analyze, and form whatever opinions I want about it. Doesn't mean they're going to line up with yours. Just like how a lot of people didn't like SH, and I fucking loved it. Why feel the need to be so critical?

  21. smoking two of these tonight. on hour 6. I decided against the water pan as it slows down the smoking time with too much moisture. these box smokers are hard to maintain at 230 degrees as it is. using apple wood for pork; duh and a variety of finer chips for a cooler smokier down time when needed. without the water it speeds the cooking up but misting with apple juice is a constant. I injected with a brine and the rub tightly wrapped in Saran Wrap for 2 days. it's been a year or two but it's always a fun time. I compare it to having a newborn baby all over again with the care and attention needed.

The Fez OST is for sale now here. It's around $37 shipped. It's one of the best soundtracks, so I think I'm gonna grab it. It looks real nice too.. I wish it were like $20 though.

  28. Just posted a bunch of rare out of print records and test pressings on the Forge Again bandcamp. Boys Night Out, Fordirelifesake, Hewhocorrupts, Child Bite, Old Gods, etc. etc. Tons of stuff. Also, you can use the code "2015" to get 20% off of all orders through the end of the year. But act fast because there is only 1 copy of most of the rare shit. http://forgeagainrecords.bandcamp.com/merch

  30. Goddammit, I am tired of people complaining about the cost of a record. I see people dropping $25 on two Budweisers at a concert. I see people dropping $5 a day on their stupid Starbucks shit. I see people dropping $50+ to drink at a bar every weekend. If you don't want to pay $25 for a great record, something you can listen to and enjoy again and again, then get the fuck out of vinyl collecting. Or just steal the mp3s. Jesus Christ. And go ahead and downvote this all you want, but you know I'm right. Fucking $25. That's an hour of work for the average college grad.

  42. I made my list based heavily on what albums I've listened to most. not in any real order, of course. Brand New - The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me La Dispute - Somewhere At The Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair Daft Punk - Random Access Memories (I know this isn't five years old, but I don't care this isn't going to change) Mogwai - Come On Die Young ( but maybe ZIDANE i dont know!!!) Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over the Sea Okkervil River - Don't Fall In Love With Everyone You See ( really close call w/ Black Sheep Boy tho ) Decemberists - Castaways and Cutouts ( such a hard call between this and Picaresque and Crane Wife ) Hostage Calm - Hostage Calm Streetlight Manifesto - Somewhere in the Between The Cat Empire - So Many Nights honorables: Dear Hunter - Act II: Deafheaven - Sunbather... The Flashbulb - Kirlian Selections RX Bandits - Resignation (maybe, I can't pick between this and ...ATBB) Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Bomb the Music Industry - Get Warmer (honestly would make a comp of songs from all albums for the best vacation playlist)

  43. Actually wasn't too hard. Very few albums fit into my "couldn't live without" category. The Angelic Process - Weighing Souls With Sand (2007) La Dispute - Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair (2008) Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven (2000) August Burns Red - Messengers (2007) Jakob - Solace (2006) Set Fire to Flames - Sings Reign Rebuilder (2001) Of Machines - As If Everything Was Held in Place (2009) Anberlin - Cities (2007) The Evpatoria Report - Golevka (2005) Defeater - Empty Days & Sleepless Nights (2011...fight me) Honorable Mentions (this is legal, right....?): Blueneck - The Fallen Host (2009) Deadhorse - We Can Create Our Own World (2010) Circle Takes the Square - As The Roots Undo (2004) Suffocate For F**k Sake - Blazing Fires and Helicopters... (2010) Moving Mountains - Foreword (2008)

  44. Nice to meet you too andables. I didn't realize there was a limit for short stories. So I apologize. I greatly appreciate the warm welcome, compassion and understanding you have given. This post is legit and not trolling. I searched google for MovMou vinyl information and this site came up. My historic information was spot on. I just didn't put in there the albums after Waves. Otherwise I would of made it a long post. Im not here to cause conflict. Was simply trying to learn about vinyl as beginner.
