I finally finished up a pipe based shelving unit I've been working on over the last few months. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Travis has an Excel document where he logs how many requests for an album he gets in this thread. When the tally reaches 250, then he knows that Hot Topic will be able to press the 800 copies necessary for a release (estimated 250 will be sold to VCers, 150 to regular non-VC shoppers, and the rest go to lazylabradorrecords on eBay). So, if you've been clamoring for an ETID repress but not seeing any change or progress it is likely because its the same few posters asking for it and not 250 different posters.

I made a video for my stuff, and I can't be more thankful. This is a solid 15 minutes of me being my awkward teenage self, so if you ever wondered what I look/sound like...well, I just may be a prime competitor for Rez in the battle for most awkward video. I hope I don't come off as insincere at all throughout the video, because I seriously mean it--I've had a pretty rough day and this, in contrast, made me really happy. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the make-up santa stuff! As I said in the video, I'll make guesses later, but I already know that one of them is Lauren Also, I've been informed that I likely have another package on the way--I'll either make a new video or post pictures when that arrives--I do hope it's before I go out of town! Regardless, even if I have nothing else, I'm so excited to have all the stuff I got. Seriously a veritable Christmas miracle, thanks to the good folks at VC. I love you guys.

I have yet to listen to this album but have listened to the band, very stoked on this! 7: Sharon Jones 'It's a Holiday Soul Party': I have not heard much of Sharon Jones I will be honest, but can't go wrong with a little Soul baby, will put this one on the platter on Thurs/Friday. 8: MO FUCKIN CARPATHIAN FOREST BITCHES: I have YET to buy a CF LP but have been meaning to for quite some time now and BAM! As you probably noticed from my collection I LOVE Norwegian Black Metal (Burzum, Mayhem, Darkthrone) so I was puuuuumped to see this bad boy at the bottom, thank you so much Santa! And that about raps it up, what an awesome display of unique items, I am so happy with everything I got and can not wait to do it again next year. My guess is 100% 'GentlemanJerseyDave' like I said you left the invoice in the box which made it a bit easier. My ONLY gripe this year is that the person I bought SS gifts for kinda blew me off but what's more disappointing is they also did the same thing to 'Batman' last year, one of the rules is to post pictures and explain what you got, so they should at least have the courtesy of a picture. Parents brought in a stray young cat off of the street last winter (for those up north here last year, you can remember how brutal it was) since he was frail and hungry. Kept him for a while and my mum tried to find him a home in a shelter, tried to go around the whole neighborhood trying to find if someone had lost him (he was very well housebroken) - but no luck, so we just kept him, had him neutered, get shots, the whole thing. Feels like someone must have abandoned the poor soul. Here he is, a year later, a /much/ bigger and happier cat. He doesn't meow much at all, communicates almost entirely non-vocally, and is really energetic and curious (but he's probably only like 2-3 years old so that's normal, I'd expect), and he is the sweetest gosh darn thing ever. I love him so much. Here's a pic of him in one of his many natural resting states

ha. i went to the store at 3am and proceeded to intensely read every single label on every single brand for about 20 minutes looking for allergens. i was the only one in the store. i walked out with 6 packages of pasta. pretty sure the few people working there all thought i was high af hahaha

I saw it Saturday morning and the moment the music started as far as I was concerned it was 1977 and I was 9 years old again. I can't be arsed with an asinine critique of the film or the score but what I will say is that my 11 year old daughter and I thought it was superb and therefore any comments not in line with that considered view are quite obviously wrong on all levels and that's an end to it..

I have no goals . Well, I guess my goal is to not work here any longer, but that's not much of a goal. Glad you hit yours! I think Christmas will be a bit better next year, when my nephews are older and can understand it more. 2 and 8 months is a bit too young to understand it.

I think the crazier thing is people NOT selling this for $75.

My store (Gainesville, FL) has had the same decent-sized vinyl rack since they started carrying vinyl a few years ago and I've never had a problem with in-store vinyl or ship to store being damaged. I guess it has a lot to do with the employees and management in each store.

I think people's opinions will shift a little as time goes on. The score is much less immediate and much more subtle than his other scores. That being said as I spend more time with it, I love almost all of it. Is it as good as the other Williams scores? Way too early to say in my opinion. Attack of the clones isn't that amazing. I feel like everyone thinks Duel of the Fates is the whole music that is played throughout all the prequels the way everyone talks about them. Rey's theme, the resistance theme, Kylo's theme (which seems pretty obvious to me to be more developed as the saga continues), and even Snoke, after you listen a couple of times starts to become really cool.

Need an Avalanche repress badly. I know it's his solo work, but still slightly related. The only ones to sell on Discogs have gone for way above what I'd be willing to pay.
