  5. I'm curious. Why did you purchase all those records and merch to immediately sell it? Also, you might have more luck piecing it out. Finding someone who wants every variant who already hasn't bought a couple already is going to be extremely hard.

  6. There might already be a thread about exactly this, but just in case. You can't go wrong with 2nd Avenue records in Portland for your Metal/Punk/Hardcore needs. Music Millennium off of Burnside is also a winner.

  9. Got the new Useless ID in this week and probably spun it 10 times since. Picked it up for pure nostalgia and was kinda blown away once I listened. It's super fucking good and the colored variant is a very nice red with black haze. Highly recommend grabbing a copy while you still can.

  10. Sorry to bump this but I was just scouting through amazon.co.uk and saw a pre-order page for a few other Godflesh titles. Couldn't find a dedicated GODFLESH or Earache records thread so rather than creating more I figured I'd put links here for everyone. Amazon UK has them priced pretty damn low and the pages say this is being handled by earache but I can't find anything on Broadrick's sites or Earache so the schedule might be subject to change. I'd be surprised if they didn't do a variety of variants like they did for Streetcleaner if these are legit happening. I straight up tripped on a parking-stop walking through a dennys parking lot for the evee in the grass behind it. Also, last night i turned it on when I got in bed and there was a ghastly floating above me?? horrifying yet also the greatest thing ever. Woke up to a meowth and a raticate in my kitchen--presumably playing chase. Never knew I was surrounded by so many cool pokes.

  21. We've been getting a bunch of new releases lately, as well as a thorough dose of all the great reissues coming out. Thanks for keeping us in mind for your record mailorder needs during this obscenely hot summer. Our catalog has a ton of options for sorting by style, format, new additions etc. Check it out! Here's a picture to remind you we're a rather small operation. Your support never goes unnoticed, as does your patience. While the label helps to represent a ton of amazing bands and talent, it's one person running this show. Thanks for helping it all maintain. Cruising right along with the ASCEND/DESCEND pre-orders. The response has been great. The pre-order only shirts are going to look sharp - many compliments to Paul at TOR Records for printing these. The shirt/record combo probably won't be up for much longer, so snag one soon. The UNINHABITABLE LPs ship this week. A small delay on those, thanks for your patience. If you haven't heard the latest from this crusty sludge metal Asheville group, do yourself a favor. Everything on our Bandcamp is available for free / donation download, including that new Uninhabitable. On to some new releases!! And restocks are listed after that! -Josh Boy Harsher "Yr Body is Nothing" LP Following a stunning cassette EP for Night-People and an equally killer 12" single for Oraculo, DKA is very excited to issue Yr Body Is Nothing, the debut LP from Boy Harsher. With a heavy emphasis on rhythm and atmosphere, the ten songs presented here showcase a songwriting and production style that is sophisticated and unique, dark but powerfully uplifting. The sound is paradoxically massive yet minimal, providing the perfect space for Jae Matthew's rich, deep, and emotive vocals to occupy as she, along with co-pilot Gus Muller, pulls the listener ever deeper with each passing song. 15.50 | Learn more Coffins "Buried Death" LP White / sea blue colored vinyl edition! Tthe first vinyl repress of Coffins’ seminal, long-out-of-print third album Buried Death to commemorate the release of their new full-length on Relapse Records, their first in five years. This edition is available on both black vinyl and blue / white “haze” colored vinyl and duplicates the original’s layout including gatefold sleeve. On Buried Death, the Tokyo band established themselves as one of the underground’s leading purveyors of neanderthal-paced doom / death metal. Previous releases, The Other Side of Blasphemy and Mortuary in Darkness, introduced Coffins’ black-tar dirge to an audience eager for slowppressive, maniac riffs and songs that dragged like the knuckles of a lumbering simian. This is derivative and true rather then progressive and new, with an effectiveness unmatched in today’s underground. 22.00 | Learn more Converge "You Fail Me Redux" LP This pre-order ships mid-July. “You Fail Me” from Converge is the classic follow up to their landmark “Jane Doe” full length album. Originally released in 2004, the brute force and emotional power on “You Fail Me” is unparalled. Solidifying their reign in the genre that they have defined for over two decades. Never quite content with the original mix, “You Fail Me” Redux was remixed by guitarist Kurt Ballou at his God City studios. The release was also remastered by Alan Douches (Motorhead, Mastodon), and repackaged
by vocalist/artist Jacob Bannon. 18.50 | Learn more Cough "Ritual Abuse" 2xLP Richmond’s COUGH delivers thoroughly massive, psychedelic doom on their aptly titled Relapse debut ‘Ritual Abuse’. The albums five epic tracks are impenetrable walls of sludge; at points suffocating and claustrophobic, at others warped and hallucinogenic. ‘Ritual Abuse’ is an impressive monolith of sound and volume, and one of the finest moments yet of 21st century doom. 23.00 | Learn more Free at Last "Embrace You" LP Clear vinyl. The last thing that should come to mind, if anything, when hearing the word "Springfield" followed by "Missouri" is that it gave to the world a band, Free At Last, that has written one of the most genuine, unique, and fresh hardcore records of recent times--"Embrace You" showcases honest expression, balancing the best of what has already been established while equally forging their own creative path. Stranger things have happened... For fans of Count Me Out, Turning Point, and Fury. 15.00 | Learn more Inter Arma "Paradise Gallows" 2xLP Black Vinyl After already having taken forward-thinking extreme music to unprecedented heights over the course of their short but propulsive career, Richmond's INTER ARMA are back with another opus of epic proportions. Like the band's previous works, the new album Paradise Gallows is direct and foreboding while maintaining a nuanced, artful perspective. INTER ARMA's signature palette of dissonant high-end and abyssal low-end has been augmented with swathes of thick, impressionistic melody that lend Paradise Gallows a truly biblical sense of scale, both lyrically and in terms of the album's sonic content. Harsh and acoustic passages (including the band's first-ever foray into clean vocals) spar with complex rhythmic structures across nine sweeping tracks over 71 minutes of expansive, progressive heaviness. Dense, funereal, and richly evocative, Paradise Gallows is a vibrant blend of doom, post-metal, sludge, avant-garde, black and death metal, and is a singular and powerful new addition to the band's already monumental discography. 23.00 | Learn more LSDogs "Creep" 7" The debut single from New Orleans' newest powerhouse LSDOGS. Featuring members of Vatican Dagger, Buck Biloxi, Sick Thoughts, and Black Abba, the pedigree alone should give you a good idea of what you are in for. Negativity at it's finest from some of the world's best purveyors of the stuff. Two short blast of straight forward punk rock. 6.50 | Learn more Oh Sees, Thee "Live In San Francisco" DVD and 2xLP Perched in the belfry of The Chapel we caught thee mighty Oh Sees, alive and in their natural element, with our shutters aflutter and our tapes on a roll. After a short incubation period, the beast has reached full maturity and it is hideous. Over three nights they pummeled, and we’ve culled some great photographs, a wicked recording, and even a little live video action. The first double LP in the Live in San Francisco series, presented on two discs, in a handsome double gatefold jacket, with live video shot by Brian Lee Hughes and his crew of merry gentlemen on an included DVD. Finally you depraved Oh Sees freaks have something to take home with you when you lose your shoes and your girlfriend at the show. Put it on at home and pretend to wait in line for the bathroom and it’s like you’re really there. The thrash, the throb, the mob is all present and pushed to the front. Dual drummers synced in each ear, Tim Hellman rounding out the bottom and Castle Face’s own John Dwyer up front on guitar, lasering young brains off and fomenting the crowd to a froth—it’s a great band, in a great room, with a great crowd and it’s cooked to perfection… Take a little bit of it with you this time. 25.00 | Learn more Old Lines / Will Potter "To Build a Fire" 7" Baltimore’s political d-beat mainstays,Old Lines in the form of a new split effort with renowned social activist and author Will Potter, aptly titled To Build A Fire. This is the first vinyl run via Life Advice Records, which is the new label imprint of Old Lines guitarist Mitch Roemer (formerly of Pulling Teeth). This unique pairing sees Old Lines offering two blazing and deliciously brutal d-beat songs which are accompanied by spoken-word companion tracks via Potter. The first track “Hypothermia” is focused on the current loss of privacy in the United States and perceived complacency surrounding this phenomenon. Potter, in-turn, comments on the normalization of such acts as the FBI trolling social media, monitoring of phone records by the NSA, and corporations hiring their own private investigators to spy on protesters, in his “Paradoxical Undressing” spoken-word commentary. 6.00 | Learn more Patsy "Eat It" 7" Patsy is back with the follow up to their debut single on Total Punk and I think this one is even better than the last. No nods to the odd, or mutant grunts just a full frontal assault. Two of the most solid hook filled punk tunes I’ve heard in some time propelled ahead by barreling drums, incredible guitar and bass interplay and Candice’s snot filled vocal attack. Could easily sit aside the early Dangerhouse catalog. 6.40 | Learn more Pentagram "First Days Here" 7" + LP 500 x Bone White / Gold Merge Standard Gram + 'Macabre' 7" You can't talk about heavy metal without talking about PENTAGRAM. The legendary D.C. band has been committed to the dark arts for more than forty-five years, and has only recently seen the kind of recognition its legacy deserves. Though the band has released nine influential full-lengths over the course of its career, PENTAGRAM's most popular and influential material since it's Relapse resurrection 15 years ago can be found in First Daze Here, a collection of the band's earliest works that has been out-of-print for years and will now finally see a new reissue via Relapse this coming June. Its companion First Daze Here Too, a 22-track collection of unreleased studio recordings and live rehearsals from the early '70s, will also see its first reissue since going out of print several years ago. Both reissues have been newly remastered and include in-depth liner notes from founding PENTAGRAM member / original drummer Geof O'Keefe along with gorgeously revitalized layouts. 19.50 | Learn more Rakta "III" LP Brazil's RAKTA is back with 6 new powerfully feminine trips through the fog. Simultaneously claustrophobic and cavernous. You can feel pulsing bass and thundering battery intertwine, akin to a snake coiling around your leg, pulling you down into the murky vortex. A flourish of atmospheric keyboard and vocal clamor pulls you right back to the surface just in time to be sucker punched by silence. This garland will leave you reeling. 500 copies on black vinyl housed in a heavy duty sleeve. Art by Mateus Mondini. Sounds by Bernardo Pacheco. Mastered by Daniel Hussayn. 15.50 | Listen / Order Underpass "Red Reflection" Tape Red Reflection is one of the most noteworthy dark postpunk LPs, from the newer crop of bands, of the modern era. ..features the same lineup as their debut LP; the Robert Smith-like vocals of Alexander Miranda are as prominent as ever, and he has to be one of the best singers in the current postpunk world. Miranda’s vocals – which also remind of Mark Wilson of The Mob, too – are one of the highlights of the band. It’s hard to believe that Underpass formed only 3 years ago, in 2013. Then again, if you look at the careers of bands as diverse as Joy Division and Minor Threat, within their 3 year timespan those bands did all they’ve ever been known for as well. Underpass’s new Red Reflection LP sees the Vancouver, B.C. postpunk band playing at a more mature, relaxed, and introspective pace. Similarities toPornography-era The Cure, Modern Eon, Wipers, Glorious Din, Lack of Knowledge, and The Mob abound – and all in a good way. Follow up to the 2014 release "Assimilation". "Red Reflection" is the first full length by Underpass. 5.20 | Learn more Wolves in the Throne Room "Diadem Of 12 Stars" 2xLP Written almost exclusively in a windowless, black room over the long, dark nights of winter 2005, Diadem of 12 Stars was the first official Wolves In The Throne Room release. Re-imagining black metal as an ode to rain storms, wood smoke and the wild energies of the Pacific Northwest, Wolves In The Throne Room craft a unique melancholic atmosphere. Diadem of 12 Stars is about lunar sorcery on Cascadian mountaintops and encounters with wild spirits. In contrast to the icy, razor sharp soundscapes of their ’90s Norwegian forebears, Diadem of 12 Stars is lush and ethereal, dripping with rain-soaked moss and lichen. 23.00 | Learn more *** Recent Restocks! 28. Picked up the tour LP tonight. It was $25 and numbered out of 300 on a sticker on the outer sleeve. I got #2/300 since they didn't sell any merch until after the show. Unfortunately, the inner sleeves had seem splits. But it turned out really nice. It looks like the whole LP is a single disc and the second disc is the Weekend EP on one side and some covers on the other. I'll try to post a couple photos tomorrow.
