  1. Not gonna lie...I have no idea what most of what I've seen so far is!

  2. Love all of these movies. Good timing on Hatchet because I guess the trailer for the 4th one just came out recently so that'll be out soon. At least I think they're considering it the "4th one?" I've seen people call it a remake, but I'm not sure. Would be pretty dumb since the films aren't that old at all. Directed by the same guy though. Behind the Mask is soooo good. Still holding out hope for a sequel one day. It's been talked about before and I believe there was even a Kickstarter for one at some point, but unfortunately it never reached it's goal . And THANKS SO MUCH for mentioning who the director of the new season of True Detective is. I read an article the other day confirming the 3rd season and it didn't even occur to me who the director actually was. I'm in the minority who still really enjoyed the 2nd season, even if it was a bit of a mess. But now I'm beyond excited for the new season. I know the American Horror Story show is kind of a joke at this point, but the new season of that starts in like... 3 days or something? My wife and I have watched all of the seasons so far and they always end up being a fun watch for us. NEW SEASON OF "CHANNEL ZERO" IS SEPTEMBER 20TH THOUGH! I really can't wait for that. Enjoyed the hell out of the first season.

  7. Hey guys, so I wanted to make a place for all of the A Thousand Arms stuff to be centralized since they're starting to become quite the operational center for things. Currently there are 2 brand new album pre-orders up and available: Ranges - The Ascensionist 2XLP (180g Milky Clear with Bone A Side/B Side vinyl. Limited to 125 copies. Deluxe Edition limited to 33 copies.) https://athousandarms.store/collections/ranges Appalaches - Cycles 2xLP (Solid Red vinyl with gatefold packaging. Limited to 100 copies through A Thousand Arms. ) https://athousandarms.store/collections/athousandarmsmusic/products/appalaches-cycles-2xlp Other album pre-orders that are quickly selling out: TRNA - Lose Yourself To Find Peace ( 180g 33 RPM Black in Ultra Clear Color in Color with Black Smoke and Bone, White and Milky Clear splatter vinyl /159) https://athousandarms.store/collections/elusivesound/products/trna-lose-yourself-to-find-peace-obsidian-brume-edition-lp PG.Lost - It's Not Me, It's You! (Clear & Bourdeaux red /250) https://athousandarms.store/collections/pelagicrecords/products/pg-lost-its-not-me-its-you-2xlp A Thousand Arms also now has distribution for Kapitan Platte, Pelagic, Aloud Music, DUNK records, and Elusive Sound. Check the website for the full list of distro items, and pick them up before they are gone. Additionally, A Thousand Arms is the USA distributor for the Australian contingent, which includes merch/records for We Lost The Sea, Dumbsaint, and Sleepmakeswaves. Have fun guys! I will be updating this thread as new distro stock arrives for them, as well as any new album pre-order announcements. A Thousand Arms has opened up their own record label wing in addition to the screen-printing operation (look for their work with the new The End of the Ocean shirts!) so I am guessing we will start to see more albums popping up soon.

  9. I will prioritize trades. Click HERE for my want list. I am not trying to break your bank but I also want a fair deal on my end. If we are trading I want us both to be happy. I'll check values on discogs and ebay sold listings. If you want a picture of a record or have any questions just ask. Most of these have never been played and have been in a smoke free home. 13. Alright, vinyl copies are officially reaching customers. (Nearly a week early.) Vinyl rips are imminent, but my copy won't even show up on release date if USPS tracking is to be believed. I know a good number of people have been listening to this for a few weeks at least. Anyone feeling generous today? Otherwise I guess I'll just wait a couple of hours for a rip. Really excited to hear this thing either way.

  14. I recognize that order number.... hey dude from r/vinylreleases 13960 here. Slaughterhouse is what got me into Ty and was the first LP I bought after about a five-year break. This became my most wanted release of the year, just because of the bonus track, remastering and 12" format.... but scoring a colored version would rule.

  16. While your ideas are intriguing, I actually like the fact that I can watch this with my kids. I don't have to tell the kiddos to scram, like when Game of Thrones comes on. I actually like the Goonies meets X-files, made for TV feel this show has.

  17. Had time for a few movies last night and one earlier this week. It Comes At Night - I was a little gutted I couldn't see this in the theater, but the timing didn't work out. I remember it getting mostly positive responses in here too. I liked it quite a bit. I don't think the survival / cabin fever / trust thing is anything new, the movie just executed it very well. Direction was great, acting was mostly strong and it was paced perfectly for what it was doing. I could see the ending being a bit divisive, but I liked it quite a bit. Behind the Mask - I have no idea how this slipped under my radar for 10 years. It was a very clever and funny take on things from the slasher's perspective. It was a tad predictable, though that didn't take any enjoyment out of it. I'm not sure if it has a ton of re-watch value for me, but I am quite happy I watched it. Hatchet - Decided I needed to watch a proper slasher after Behind the Mask. I thought this was pretty fun and was full of enjoyable kills. It made for a nice "I'm a little drunk on a Friday night" watch. Not completely horror related, but I'm sure people in this thread will be interested. Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room, Blue Ruin) is directing the next season of True Detective. Which ramps my interest up from pretty much zero to a fair amount.

  19. I hardly check twitter anymore, but I just followed her in hopes of scoring some vinyl. Thx for the heads up, I still say fuk VMP tho they did the same thing to me on the Quazimoto exclusive, I signed up first day and they don't mention they oversold till send out time. Don't tell me it took them a whole month to find out the 500 they had wasn't going to cut it

  22. NoName had a vinyl release party where she sold & signed copies while people are also saying she has been hinting on twitter about selling them soon as well so i'm thinking it was a bigger pressing and VMP did not get them all. I would follow her on Twitter if you want a copy because if she does they will probably go fast as well.

  39. Good job lads. I think this might be the first time OP didn't throw a tantrum after a bit of light comedy. I'm guessing his German "windex" is probably much closer to being safe to use than ours. Actual windex is full of chemicals that just stick inside the grooves and dry. Ruining the record.
