I am enjoying that We Got The Beats order pull sheet. I don't know what I'm more surprised by: the price of the 4-LP Jeff Buckley reissue 'Live At Sin-E' at $81.98 or that We Got The Beats ordered three of them, but was sent 4.

VC Clear Crew representing. There are a few of us. After seeing the unimaginative variants for New Bermuda, I wasn’t holding my breath for anything crazy, anyway. I’m not a huge fan of the cover art and don’t really care all that much about insane color combinations for the vinyl itself; if it matches and has a cohesive aesthetic, I’m game. And fortunately clear wax looks great with almost every black-and-white jacket I’ve ever seen. Anyone read the writeup on the product page? Interesting that Chelsea Wolfe makes an appearance on the album.

Pure Comedy had some great material and some really fillery material, so I'm hoping the 10 tracks / 38min runtime stats on this will lead to a more focused album. Gonna bite and PO probably.

Man, I was away from my computer all day and I missed the initial fun. I have faith in the thread's ability to continue being entertaining, nonetheless.

They charged me nearly $40 for shipping and then mailed my package media mail which cost under $10. They publicly posted they would refund shipping differences then went on to not actual do those refunds or reply to emails for coming up on 6 months. How exactly would you recommend us getting our money back other than by filing a PayPal claim? Also yes I am not sure why “entitled” is being thrown as an insult as we are very much entitled to get our money back that even they admitted was overcharged and they said we would get back...

This last single is like a fucking bad 30 Seconds To Mars song. A BAD one. The band is already pretty bad. This is like a bad cut from a bad band. All these songs have been pretty weak. "The Doomed" and "TalkTalkTalk" are pretty good. The other two are bad to terrible.

They were all long sold out by the time I remembered to check the site, but honestly I am not that impressed with this first round of color variants. I'm totally content with getting the black 1/500 180 gram (which all limited variants should be anyway, imo) and holding out for a future repress if it catches my eye. But seriously, how is the "deluxe" not 180 gram? $70 for a box and flag is crazy, even for relapse. I know it's a big deal for a band to be on their roster, and Yob is possibly my favorite band ever, but I wish they weren't on relapse. They cut corners on vinyl releases and only seem to care about whatever flavor of the week color variant they can apply to a pre order. I'd much rather Yob still be on metal blade or 20 buck spin or join southern lord. Give me heavy weight vinyl with actual thick gatefold covers or printed sleeves. Oh well. Psyched for new Yob!
