I recently was asked to do a design for a David Bazan show, figured some of you may be interested in this! 16x20 4 color print. The 4th color is GLOW IN THE DARK, which is a hidden layer in the light. Really excited with how this turned out. Limited to 50, there were only 15 left after the show. Okay, since I've already opened mine, I figured I'd go ahead and post a photo of it! Here's what all I got: Beach House - Depression Cherry (Loser Edition, clear vinyl in velvet sleeve) Funko POP TV Leela figurine a really rad 50th anniversary Looney Tunes cup from 1990 some awesome stickers! a note with some info about the selection and some clues as to their identity. I absolutely love everything that I got, and honestly, the amount of thought that went into each part of the box made each thing better to me. Kudos on the Leela figure, I very recently started collecting vinyl figures to display on my bookshelf AND she's actually my fav Futurama character, so that's a win-win. And yes, I did mean that I collect drinking glasses and mugs from the 80s and 90s, so you were spot-on, haha. Also! I'd been meaning to pick that Beach House album up, so that was a very pleasant surprise! Also, based on the clues in the note, (from Michigan, same age, hangs out in a lot of the pop punk/ska threads, etc.), I'm almost positive that the person responsible for this lovely package was SmikeX13! Album has to be older than 5 years old. Now this is coming from someone who is almost 30, so I don't know what the scale should be for 15yr olds making this list. You figure it out. It can be an EP / LP / Single / Comp. No greatest hits albums. If you have a greatest hits album as a favorite album you need to rethink your life. Try not to let this turn into a nostalgia / sentimental / most influential / pinnacle list . Those are all completely different lists. Now, this isn't a Desert Island in the sense that you feel the need for variety. Just list the 10 albums you can't live without. As you make this list ask yourself 'Can I live without this album?'. Your list doesn't have to be in order. Keep in mind these are 10 albums you could listen to on repeat until your death and you would not regret any choice. Preferred if you know how to air drum every album. Have at it, guys.
