Haven't been on VC very much over the last 6 months. Part of reason why is because my girlfriend of 8 years was diagnosed with breast cancer last October and life has been pretty hectic. I got this piece a few months back

I actually liked the song. If you imagine you're listening to EDM, it kinda works. But if you're expecting pop punk I can see where it misses the mark

I was about to post a serious reply but then I saw who it is.

The Sundays LP was a bit off center, some IGD on both sides, and no insert. It's relatively quiet which I was hoping for. A small tick here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. From the matrix etching, it looks like a United pressing from Nashville which don't always sound too great (from personal experience). Mine came with a 1" seam split too which happened in transit. The artwork is slightly blown up, but you really have to look close and I've seen much worse. It's not worth $26 at all, but if you like the album and see it out in the wild, I'd pick it up. I wouldn't pay crazy, inflated prices though. Hope they give it a better vinyl treatment sometime in the future. Thank you again for posting your leftovers on here @Monster Music & Movies

They are epic when it comes to shipping. I still am amazed how they can get vinyl from Maine to CA so damn quick after I order! One day if I am ever in that state I am going to make it a point to wheel and personally shake their hands and buy them beer or something!

Er, no. The repress has nothing to do with it. People were hyped before they even knew a repress of DDs was coming. Gorillaz gets played all over the radio (at least in the cities I visit). People who like Gorillaz did not forget about them, it sounds like you simply don't like Gorillaz. I also find the comments saying that this isn't a departure odd. While obviously there have been changes from album to album, I find that the first three albums do have a very recognizable thread throughout. I did not feel like Plastic Beach was a huge departure, and was not disappointed by it at all. This feels like a huge departure, which is fine, it's just not for me. A lot of people ARE into it and that's cool.

Hype wasn't overblown...I'm guessing it will only get bigger once the the record actually comes out. I have tons of friends that aren't into vinyl and preorders, but once they found out recently there was a new record coming out their hype just started. People like this band. Hype isn't an excuse...they are just popular.

Entered the wrong expiration date on my CC info and got an email from Music Millennium. Ended up talking to a dude there who said they probably have about 60 of these left. I asked how many they had in total and he guessed at around 400.
