So I went to a Twin Peaks party at the weekend cosplaying as Mr C. and this happened: and yes that is the real Jake Wardle aka Freddie Sykes. He's a real solid guy. Picked up the Blu-Ray today and the case is so swish. Can't wait to give it a rewatch, probably gonna start reading the Final Dossier when my work breaks up for christmas on the 15th December.

Got a White Whale I've been hunting for like 6 years at this point: Chris Vrenna (ex-NIN) under his Tweaker name - Wonderland Woods (from American McGee's Alice) and Take The Pill (from Enter The Matrix), Signed by both American McGee and Chris and also Numbered. I found out about this soon after I bought The Doom 3 7" that Chris put out a while ago and have been on the hunt ever since.

They're in a band that people only check out because of a band name that was a joke between friends that aren't in the band anymore. I wouldn't care this much if they just changed their name and stopped riding former bandmates coattails. This is some Velvet Underground Squeeze shit now.

It started a few months ago. It sucks, especially if you're collecting old live bootlegs from the 80s/90s that are already circulated and out there. Speaking of...I have about 40 different R.E.M. bootlegs. Most of them from Discogs pre-2017 bootleg raid. I'd be glad to answer any Qs anyone might have about the very specific subject that is R.E.M. bootlegs. Beyond those, I have 6-7 Talking Heads boots, that Green Day: Broadcasting Live bootleg, and a few other randoms that I'm not recalling. Edit: I also have the Smashing Pumpkins at Del Mar Fairgrounds boot. I had the Nirvana: Live on KAOS boot but I sold that one. I didn't really need to edit this post to list those two but hey.

They are not going to make it where you can sell things easier unless it’s through them. That’s how they fund the site! If some one has something for sale it’s super easy to see if they have other things you want. Most of my purchases on there are 5-10 records at a time.

Also got this on Black Friday at that sale. I always want to keep the original rock & roll and R&B stuff I find, but then sometimes it's worth money and I want to sell it. I like Bo Diddley a lot. He's a genius and an architect of rock for sure, but sometimes, he can be repetitive. This song sounds like nothing else of his. Doesn't have that same hook. It's great. Probably a keeper.
