  1. Redroom is actually a contributing member to the board and I would argue a lot more useful than a ton of users here. Myself included.

    Dear MODERATORS

So yes, I posted those RSD lists. The one's that the people from RSD where not so happy about. And the one's you so respectfully deleted because they asked. Now, without a single warning, message,... my account has been blocked. Really respectful! After contacting you (the admins, a moderator, twitter,...) I still have not heard anything back. Once again... really respectful! It would be nice if someone could unblock me so I can use my old account again. And since the RSD list has officially been announced I can't leak anything else.;-)

  14. That time again. Just got my CF walk information for the Cleveland Zoo on 5/14 and figured it would be a great time to make yet another thread. Below is a photo from last years walk and a couple others. Also put in some info about my girls the past year. thanks for taking some time to read through the thread. Update from my wife's CF page. Every year, our family walks to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Before the age of 1, our twin daughters were diagnosed with CFTR-related metabolic syndrome (CRMS). What is CRMS ---> http://www.cff.org/aboutcf/testing/genetics/crms/ They do not have cystic fibrosis. They have one CF causing genetic mutation and 1 variant mutation that when paired together may cause mild cystic fibrosis in the future... (breathing or gastrointestinal issues caused by thicker mucus in thier bodies). Reagan and Alexis saw their pulmonologist in August. At that time, their first lung function test showed some changes, despite another year of minimal symptoms. We spent many meetings discussing and deciding a course of action. The girls visits were increased to every 6 months. In the meantime, a nasty respiratory virus had them coughing for weeks. In August we were also given updated sweat testing results as we were somehow given only Alexis' results in 2014 and not Reagan's. Those diagnosed with CF have levels that are higher than 60. Healthy individuals score less than 30. Reagan scored 61 and 52. Alexis scored 49 and 51. Their pulmonary testing in January continued to show mild changes (similar to those in August), but confirmed. The girls will probably be having CT scans this coming summer of either the sinuses or lungs. If either show signs of cystic fibrosis, our pulmonologist has discussed giving the diagnosis of atypical CF and starting lung treatments. They are having no stomach issues or weight problems at this time. Our children's diagnosis has opened our eyes to the devastating effects of this terrible disease and we want to help bring a cure to those who are suffering from this illness. Your donation can help develop life saving curative treatments and medications. ANY donation is welcome and VERY appreciated. Thank you!!! Click the link if you would like to know more about CFTR related metabolic syndrome. http://www.cff.org/A.../Genetics/CRMS/ any donation is greatly appreciated. even if its a couple bucks!!! thanks dudes and dudettes. http://fightcf.cff.org/site/TR/GreatStrides/104_Northern_Ohio_Cleveland?px=1774452&pg=personal&fr_id=4805

  19. RSD has become the predictor of future half-off bins at your local. This year is such a garbage dump. Frankie Goes To Hollywood fans are totally stoked but once again we are reminded that your independent label is now backlogged thanks to a picture disc featuring the mug of that guy from Disturbed. Seriously, to get the stuff that will sell the locals will get saddled with so much total junk it's amazing - it's becoming corporate welfare for major labels to have some genius run their finger through the back catalogue, announce it as an RSD Exclusive repress then force the local to take 15 copies to get the stuff that will sell. My local now has two full bins of past RSD releases going back a few years. I'd like that Lush set but at /2000 I think I can sit this one out and find it online which is exactly the attitude RSD is supposed to inspire against.

  31. Only when they play 'Some Are White Light' right after. Caspian isn't a jam band. You're lucky they have a pretty good handful of lengthy songs. Just be happy with what you have. You have enough post rock and metal bands to cover your jam fix, Gumby. Caspian will never be a jam band. Stop fucking with perfection. You'll never change it!!!

  32. Yeah, I'm not a "Best of" type usually either, but this is a great LP. I have an original, but I may bite on this. I assume that the quality is the same as his current albums in his catalog that's been repressed.

  37. This was the description on one of the leaked lists: Clear with Red/Orange/Yellow Splatter Vinyl, includes reimagined and expanded packaging, download, limited to 1500, indie-retail exclusive So the amount is wrong, but maybe the color is accurate. I'm sure Jeff will let us know eventually.

  39. I find the incessant aversion to white vinyl totally unnecessary. Several albums come to mind on white that sound just fine, great even. Including 'Diamond Eyes'. Any vinyl pressing on any color can sound great or like shit. Including white. And gold. It's all digital anyway.

  40. Austin experimental psych rockers BOYFRNDZ are back and ready to release their third full-length effort, Impulse, later this spring. The lead single is the ethereal “Hiatus.” After the opening lulls you into a trance with dreamy, quivering guitars, intricate, rolling drum work comes in heavy with Scott Martin’s tender high-pitched vocals to balance. The stuttering, military feel of the drums breaks up the lingering guitar for a discordant feeling of floating rhythms. The quartet plays off of that tension until the last 45 seconds, when everything explodes into an intoxicating, consuming energy. That cathartic crescendo mirrors the sentiments of being consumed by emotions in a relationship as Martin so delicately sings “Based solely on what feels good/ I’m rearranging what else could/ It’s so endearing fearing her/ I’m caught, elated, without words.” Check it out. http://www.stereogum.com/1864041/boyfrndz-hiatus-stereogum-premiere/mp3s/ new song

  45. Thank you very much! I understand that I won't loose that kind of weight the coming weeks, but I'm glad I got a jumpstart. I ate less and less often, cut down on the weekday snacks. The cravings are the hardest part though. I wish you the best of luck with WW and 'grats on not gaining any weight atleast, this week!

  46. Aaron talks about reissuing SNGL>05 in this interview from last year: "Are there plans for any more Isis reissues? Yes. The first three EPs (Mosquito Control, Red Sea and SGNL>05) have all been out of print for a while now. Not sure how we're going to put those together for reissues, but we'd like to make them available again in the near future. " http://heavymetal.about.com/od/interviews/fl/Aaron-Turner-Interview.htm
