It's not the same packaging as the first edition but still totally worth it considering the first run sold out real quick. Dreamworks was absorbed by Geffen, so who knows where it's at, but yeah I agree they should have some pull by now with BMI. The op of In Reverie was Dreamworks and Vagrant though, as opposed to the CD release just being Dreamworks, so I'm sure they have some rights in terms of vinyl? I hope something comes of it, I sold that album when it was worth like $60, but now it's just gotten out of control with aftermarket prices.

With his first solo album, he didn't have his store's variant available online until after his tour was over. That's when he put up what was left after pre-orders and tour merch sales. So you may be waiting a bit.

I pulled the trigger on the litho version but then cancelled my order. $50 is insane for a 4 song EP. And the indie version gets you everything but the litho on a cooler sounding color of wax for $30 less. i may end up regretting it but I'm willing to take a chance on not buying a $30 litho

This whole breakdown basically said, "You have a slim to none chance of getting a wax mage because we kept the coolest ones for ourselves and most of the others are going to friends." I'm really finding it harder and harder to stay on board with these guys. I like the music, but they're doing everything that I hate about this "vinyl resurgence".

If I could just manage to obtain a single copy of any Wax Mage hand-poured variants I'd be stoked. They just look wildly different from anything else out there. Great Columbus band, they've been bringing the heavy for a few albums now. That new EP is good.

I wanted to make moving more of a pain in the ass.

Worst case scenario they start to suck but blow up and I can unload my rare pressings for $$$$$.

I hope the final product winds up looking similar to the mock ups, otherwise I think we all know what we can do.
