I probably wouldn't start with any of these necessarily, maybe Congregation, but Gentlemen and Black Love are perfection. Now all we need is a Blackberry Belle repress and I'll be set.

So I saw this box set on ebay Tues night for sale with a Buy it Now price of $19.11 (Canadian $). Seller was importcds-ca with a kabillion feedback so bought it figuring it would be cancelled or the wrong record would be sent. It was also free shipping and to my shock arrived today only 2 days later. Needless to say I'm going to be buying a lottery ticket this weekend!

Years ago I became obsessed with cataloging my collection, which has evolved into an unhealthy desire to stay heavily on top of shit. Even stuff that doesn't interest me. I'll conquer my OCD someday, unless it kills me first.

Most likely, the more limited Yellow meant to say "Indie Exclusive Retail". (e.g. Order at Bullmoose or other select retailers and get yellow). Primary retail (meaning Rise's MerchNow site, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other big distributors) will most likely get purple.

I had a quick chat with ETR and they say their variant should be Black Inside White w/ Gold Splatter. I know ETR gets a bad rep from everyone on here, but they've honestly been killing it with their releases lately. It's gonna be limited to 500. Should be announced next week. I'm hype!

Yeah, I think it ended up being out like 2-3 weeks later. I guess that just goes to show how much RSD stuff is just bought during the craze of the event since these are still out there. But I also don't think it was ever stated how many copies were available, so it could have been a very large run as well. S/T and Director's Cut are definitely my favorites as well. Now I really wish that Millennium Monsterworks would get pressed.

I think Peter pan is alright. Overall I think the album is pretty solid. For me chemistry is the only clunker. The only other bad thing I can say about it is that it may be their worst lyrically, I think musically, it works. That being said, they can probably switch out of trying to do dance music for the next album. They aren't LCD.

Last August we sold our house. Built a new house, finished it in October. Then decided to finish the basement myself. Been without records and audio for 10 months. About 3 weeks ago I finished the basement enough to start moving stuff in. It's a work in progress with still more stuff yet to come from the framers.

I don't have anything to say about the record but I'm glad you're ok and I hope you sue the absolute fuck out of whoever hit you.

That's absolutely the case. Seems like a lot of people are more concerned with the rarity of their pressing vs. the actual music, which you can't play anyway when it's in a frame.

I'm assuming these prices will crash when the hype dies off. People are asking more for the VMP than they are for the original. I have an original and it sounds phenomenal. I swear, people just want the pretty colors when they buy vinyl. No one even knows how good (or bad) the new press sounds. Could be a defective press filled with nonfill etc. It's a gamble at this point to pay anything over the sticker price.
