Ordered. This is a special day. I discovered VC by googling "blink-182 vinyl" and came across this very thread. Today, I finally have all the blink albums I want for my collection. Thank you all for your support and cat .gifs. I couldn't have done it without you.

So I stopped by my local Hot Topic tonight, they had copies of both TOYPAJ and the Self Titled. One of the copies of TOYPAJ didn't have shrink wrap on it, and had a sticker saying 'As-Is, It Skips'. I asked the employee about it, and they said someone had bought it this morning and returned it this afternoon saying it skips. They sold it to me for 50% off. Since I have a half decent turntable, I listened to it all the way and it doesn't skip once. Long story short, I got Take Off Your Pants and Jacket for $11.50.

I went to bonnaroo and caught a bunch of electronic acts. Overall they were great. Last year the biggest electronic show was skrillex. I actually liked his last album, however, during his performance he stopped the music every minute to ask the crowd how they were feeling that was a major turnoff. Jaime xx was a real solid show. It was just him and he didn't have a microphone. He really got the crowd moving. Deadmau5 was a big spectacle the mouse trap ball was pretty cool. Music was good and it was very loud. It really felt like it was you and him instead of him trying to get the crowd "hype". Bassnectar was the opposite of that. He brought the bangers and drops but was at least able to let his music play without interrupting it to talk. The crowd was really packed and a dude was creeping on my wife and put his around around her and then tried again after she removed it the first time. We moved and didn't have any more problems. Sylvan esso was half electronic show half poppy hip hop. The electronic portion was really cool and utilized a Minimal approach to not over ride the vocal performance. Tycho and sts9 provided live electronic music. Some people in my group said tycho was boring and it was useless trying to explain that is just how they are. If you are looking to rage it isn't the place just let them enthrall and captivate you. Sts9 crosses well over to the jam band side but still have a strong electronic presence. It was the longest show of the festival at 2:45 and very sweaty and dancey set. There were a bunch of other djs that I caught but they didn't stand out enough to comment.

Someone who tried to spite him by tattling on him to Koei-Tecmo about Ninja Gaiden on vinyl actually turned out to be instrumental in landing his first non-boot pressing... They were so impressed with his mission statement and quality and care of previous releases that they offered the rights to him, completely unsolicited. They basically tried to get him in trouble, but it backfired and they landed him the deal right in his lap.

It would be very Insound of them to go out of business with no sale.

This is kind of the problem, though and why the internet is ruining record collecting. Now everybody is interested in the business side, when that was only a fraction of the collecting world before. Pre-internet, one had to learn how to identify different pressings, labels, significant artists, etc. You had to get familiar with everything to be good at buying records to sell. Now, everyone is an "expert". And that's bad because you have millions of people selling "minty" copies of records on ebay that are far from mint. People only care about the monetary side so that it benefits them to make money, not learn how to properly grade, identify first pressings from original pressings, etc. There isn't a art popsike to look up values. The last thing record collectors need is another site that tells them the value.

I tried to convince them to let me take it home. I told them I had a name lined up for it and everything (Gally). They said no, and that it was considered medical waste. I told them it was a medical waste NOT to give it to me.

I figured it'd go for around that. They got some crazy fans and we all wondered for many years if this album would see the light of day. Living with a couple members of the band I personally pushed this issue on a regular basis. Being drunk and yelling for the to play kfly shit during water&bodies practices! Haha. I remember being drunk and super stoned and listening through all of the demos they did after set sail and Aaron came home and heard me listening to his scratch guitar track to what was to be the opening song on horses galloping, he instantly went down stairs to his room and played that riff for like a weak strait! Can't wait for people to hear this shit!

When I think cutting edge technology, I think Peter Frampton records.Let's just say this guy isn't lying and really DID research VNYL, and still subscribed, is that a person with an opinion you'd trust? Plus he's wearing a beanie in June, implying he's disoriented and detached from sanity. Another example; he says they don't have a lot of money, yet they thought it was a good idea to start a tech vlog. That's like being deaf and posting music reviews.

I'm still actively looking for this if anyone has any leads or decides to sell / trade theirs for a reasonable price.

It's hard to feel bad for a band when they don't make information public. If this was me, I'd make sure everyone knew what was going on... Not just the few people who emailed me about it. It'd be a huge public outing.
