  4. Okay, I already did a random grid of 100 so I guess I'll randomly assign numbers to each member. Then do random scores.

  5. This one is dedicated on ONTRAC, the world's best delivery service. Instead of wondering what was inside my package, like I do with most deliveries, OnTrac provided me with a neat preview hole in the center of the box. As soon as I lifted the record, I could feel all the great classic Nirvana tracks swooshing around inside. The store listing said 5 pieces were included but I got 7. That's TWO extra pieces of record for free. I will have to assume that OnTrac negotiated these additional bonus shards for me, as a way of saying thanks for using their service for my record shopping. Yeah. I framed the record instead of listening to it. I have Spotify if I want to hear Pennyroyal Tea on the acoustic guitar. To me, vinyl is physical art and, thanks to OnTrac, I am able to hang my art proudly in all it's compartmentalized glory.

  10. yea, you should reorganize the webpage i originally thought this was $79.99. The actual release is below the fold for ~$28.

  11. It says "Relapse" on that SRC page. Relapse will put it up soon and it will have at least 4 variants. EDIT: And it will probably be $5 cheaper.

  18. Probably the main reason I log into VC and post. There aren't many people in my personal life that share the same level of excitement I do about new music releases, and it can be nice to share the hype with similarly-stoked individuals. I love random album releases and pre-orders, but it's also fun to scope threads like these where updates are imminent. There's a vague bit of Christmas Eve in the air.

  22. I don't want to derail, but check out Red Razor Wish You Were Beer out of Brazil I think. Fun thrash. But seriously, back to stoner doom.

  23. Asteroid was going to be my "need to check out" i wish they would press their records on vinyl. I would assume most would limit to stoner/doom when they could. May be some random outliers.

  24. That totally makes sense and I'm an idiot for not thinking about that point. ...Carry on.

  30. as much as that would have been better, the vip package did state that it would just be a screenprint that went over the jacket.

  31. Strugglers wasn't bad, but I definitely enjoyed Hard Times much more. Still, for me, It Had To Do With Love is my favorite Koufax record. "It had to do with love...or maybe, a lack thereof." Sigh. </3

  35. I'm old so a seated venue sounds good to me lol. I saw FNM in a seated venue last year and people still stood up, sang along, danced and had a good time. If I was 16-21 I'd be pissed but at 35 I just wanna be comfortable and be able to see the show without some jackass standing in front of me blocking my view. It never fails that the tallest guy in the venue happens to stand right in front of my wife and I at every GA show we go to.

  37. This makes me happy. There's no way the album leaked that early and not a day before the release announcement. Thank you based Timmy.

  39. I think you guys should make a stoner/doom/psych 101 list. Or maybe a best of (insert year here) type list. I love stoner, doom, psych, black metal, etc. but the post rock thread tends to win my focus. I would love to see compiled lists, playlists, etc. of some of the top albums of the year, or the essentials (etc.). We do that over in post rock and seemed to be educating, and fun. Most recently we did a top 15 post rock albums of all time, tallied all the votes for everything, then used that to make the essentials list. Anyway, just throwing that suggestion out there.

  40. hahaha. it was a very WTF moment for sure. oh and i actually just remembered that i was so completely mind blown by the fact that one could actually lose a record in a couch, that of course, proper documentation needed to happen. https://www.instagram.com/p/Y8ic-bu0V4/?taken-by=themeconspiracy

  41. Never gave Strugglers much of a listen, but I love Hard Times Are In Fashion. Their discography are some of my most listened to records, but Social Life is still my favorite by far. Another user is selling their Ep for $5, which is also gold. I enjoy them

  42. One frame: Sealed. One frame: Unsealed, pull record out 3/4 of the way. One shadowbox: Vertical record player queued up to play it, power cord and A/V cables hanging out to be used for only a single play on your deathbed.
