No one in this thread ever indicated that they were interested in these specific color versions of these presses strictly because of the color. Call me old fashioned but I figured people wanted RATM records for the music that is on them. Some posts in this thread are ambiguous about whether or not the color is the defining factor for the want of the records by the posters. I'm giving people insight which can lead them to having the music on the vinyl format from the MOV label which contains RATM's music. Just because I am personally a proponent of having records I like on black vinyl specifically and am clearly open about it doesn't mean that I'm necessarily trying to convert anyone to my ethic on the matter. Its entirely plausible that there are people viewing this thread that are unaware that they have an inexpensive option for owning these records. Its like people who go on eBay and buy a record that's well over retail only to find out later that they could have bought the same record for 1/3 of the price had they done a little research. So you can highly doubt it 'til you're blue in the face but I'm just reminding people they have the option of having this music on vinyl regardless of color. Stand down, soldier.

The new song really isn't very good at all. If this was a new song by a new band not a single person here would think twice of saying its generic. I still have hope the album will be good, but for a band with 6 people in it, that song sure is plain. There are bands with 3 people that sound more robust than this.

I know there’s at least a couple releases I’m keeping an eye out for from them so maybe they can send us a bulk list and even let us order multiple titles in the pipeline if we can get them enough people. either way, let us know!

The 3xLP test press was by the grace of Simon H over at Twisted. He and I have been discussing the 3xLP configuration for literally YEARS, so I think he wanted my input on it when it came out, so he sent it to me for free (no joke). He also knew that I purchased another test press directly from him, so it was something I would be interested in. As for the other white label promos, I simply tracked those down on ebay and discogs. At the time, they were pretty cheap, but lately the ones I see pop up are roughly twice what I used to find them for. I almost never see the DMT single white label anymore either.

Amazing stuff, Eric! How did you get the testpressings and promos? Never heard of the VA - Demented before, cool. That DMT remix is great, first time I heard it was during the 4 hour DJ set (20 year anniversary?) Raj n Simon played on Ozora back in '11. Among the weirdest four hours in my life. :::)

Watched Mom & Dad and Victor Crowley...liked them both and would recommend. Only gripe would be the endings could have been a little better but they were fun and pretty much are exactly what you’d think they would be

Do you know how many of those were just tacked to some kid's wall and thrown out when they unearthed Bauhaus, The Damned, and Joy Division? Probably like 5,000. I think it's safe to assume there are approximately 5k playable copies floating around. 4,999 if you count the fact that mine will not be for sale ever in my lifetime.

That shit needs to be cleaned. If it's as dirty as it looks, that's probably why you have surface noise.

I kind of have to slightly disagree with the first sentiment...I feel like emotionally this album is on par with the rest of the records just with a different emotion. Rather than exploring the emotions of anger and loss, this one feels more positive and with Blue really connects lyrically to the last two albums. This is a record that takes a few listens with headphones and the lyrics I think... From what I get out of it lyrically it feels like Kyle is expressing this idea that Love comes when you least expect it and when you never think you will find it again, hence the title "wait for love." I mean this record is pretty much an emotional love letter to his kid and wife and is beautiful in every sense. I've honestly never heard a record like it before and I love how Kyle is able to capture these emotional capsules without every really telling a story. I mean some of the lines in here kind of hint at what the record is about but he has the real talent of conveying emotion with words without you really having to understand what they mean completely...which in my opinion makes this a great album. The hooks are also more subtle and after a few listens have really gotten stuck in my head and creep in out of nowhere. This is a very positive emotional record which is something that doesn't come along very often and I feel a ton of hope in it. I totally agree with the last part of your statement though. How do you constantly sing about the death of your father over and over again on stage. That would really take it out of you and at some point that energy is exhausted and you have to move on. I love this band and I don't know if we will ever get another band like them.... Just wanted to share my thoughts....

My crosley is great. Modded it to hook up to a tube amp and my Sonos home bluetooth setup and I seriously am getting the highest highs and lowest lows. My 200 gram 45rpm Pet Sounds totally kills it on my rig.

So i emailed the VP of digital/sales at Fearless and let him know about the cancellations. He said that MerchNow will not be cancelling any orders and will be honoring the price that was listed and paid. He said that if for some reason my order does get cancelled, i need to send him my receipt/confirmation and he will make sure MerchNow honors my order. I think it is safe to say that they received a lot of complaints and will make sure nothing shady on MerchNow's part happens. Email Fearless direct if you have any issues. Very nice and helpful.

Moved all my record collection pics to a vinyl only account. Probably wont post for another 3-4 months since i'm bouncing around state to state in an RV and all my records are in storage. Looking forward to following you all on IG til I get back @theonewiththevinyl
