I'm with you on this, but also...their, dude. Their. I get that it definitely could have just been a typo, not a huge deal, but I also see people out there wanting to be taken seriously about things who legitimately do not know the difference between their/there/they're and your/you're. Alright! It's been a busy week, sorry for the delay in getting the pictures up. So the boarder guards saw Juan shipping a big heavy box and decided it was full of drugs : Gwar Beer!!! My buddy was super jealous. I'm not a huge IPA fan, but these were pretty decent: The full, glorious package! Two Gwar beers A huge-ass Walt Disney biography. I'm not much of a non-fiction reader, but there are a few people interesting enough that I would read, and Walt is definitely one of those! Deftones - Rocket Skates 7". I'm super happy to get this, actually. I have a mostly complete Deftones collection (well, the major stuff), but I was missing this one because I gave a copy to a friend as a gift. Thank you for replacing it! I love large-hole 7"s too /sexual. Prong - Turnover 7". I've been a casual Prong fan since his involvement with Argyle Park (Juan, check out their album 'Misguided' if you have not before), and the b-side features a kick-ass remix by Pig!! Refused - Servants of Death LP. I haven't heard this release before and am really looking forward to spinning it. Refused is a band that I've never really gotten into, but purely just from not taking the time, everything I've heard from them sounds awesome. Three mix CDs. I've already worked my way through the first, and it's awesome! Thank you for introducing me to Milk Teeth, I love it! Really looking forward to working through the rest. And his letter: No worries at all about being late! Like I said, it worked out well, it's been a stressful week so it was super rad having this come in when it did. got mine yesterday. looks great, though the UV print titles of the albums on the front of the box is pretty tacky. the box has the side opening, so you can see the spines of all the albums, which i much prefer to the type of boxsets that need to be opened/sorted through to find the album you want/have those bullshit flimsy lids. the jackets/artwork are good quality, though the printed inner sleeves are sometimes lacking (the older albums only having black and white printing) but each lp comes in a poly lined black dust cover so you'd never need to use the printed inners anyway. it's hard to tell in that picture, and i didn't notice it the first time i looked, but there's a very slight green splatter on chaos ad and it rules. i've only listened to BTR so far, but the sound/pressing quality was very good, no pops, no warping whatsoever. even if these are done with a digital master from rhino, i'm fine with it. i understand roots is far too long for a single lp, but it will be getting the least amount of play of all of these albums, so it's not a big deal. for the price, this box is outta the ballpark.

This will be my third time. First was on the Hawk is Howling tour and second was the Rave Tapes tour last year. This should be an interesting experience because they're playing Atomic in it's entirety and screening the film.

I mean in an 8 page thread of course you can find a handful of positive things, but overall people seem to be hating on it or at least very disappointed so I was expecting this to be awful. I don't think the singles were misleading at all, they're pretty representative of how the album sounds. There's even a song or two I liked more than the singles (I don't know track titles yet). Like I said, it's not much better or worse than burials IMO. Has a few good songs, and a handful of filler. I guess I'm just shocked why people think this is sooooo bad compared to other modern AFI records or why they expected this to channel old AFI.

Not sure how my saying you have equally bad taste as the people you're talking about comes off as something a "hall monitor" would do though. If you'd like I can make some judgments about you based on what I've seen from you on here too.

Yeh I'm really into them. Their debut album is amazing! Will appear on a lot of best of 2017 lists i think. I have all of their vinyl releases. Also glad i picked up EP1 early on these guys will be huge

Still funny though.
