This is the worst argument I've ever seen. 1)smoking weed most definitely affects people's driving. Just because you've never crashed your car when you're high doesn't mean shit. There are tons of alcoholics driving around out there who haven't been in an accident, but overall, driving while impaired raises the likelihood of an accident. 2)you'd never say the same thing about someone having 4-5 drinks before hitting the road. I know it isn't the exact same thing, but it's not a ridiculous comparison by any means. Like I said, I'm not anti-weed. I'm anti-things that affect your perception and reflexes while you're driving. It makes sense, or it's not improbable. Meth is a big deal in the South as there are a lot of rural areas in which to make the drug without any suspicion, and it's nearby to Knoxville which has the higher crime rates of the area. It seems unlikely that some dude who describes his ebay account with "Me and my wife have been married 8 years. We use e-bay to make a little money on the side. We do our best to be honest and make any buying or selling transaction easy" Would be telling the truth when they are selling items supposedly signed by a lot of well known artists to the same buyers over and over. When one of those buyers is totally "private" on eBay. It would be a really easy way to create a source of false revenue when the IRS comes a knocking wondering how some couple living in rural TN is able to generate such an income without having legitimate jobs. Assuming the theory, of course.

I'm starting to believe the theory that this is just money laundering. If you look at the feedback, the same buyer buys a block of items, then a different buyer buys another block of items. It seems like that would be pretty tedious, but it's pretty clever. Could also be shill bidding to increase feedback rating.

I like being able to flip through records, go through them, see them, etc. So for me, being able to only fill up each shelf to 75% capacity with a book end and being able to easily flip through each cubby hole is nice. But obviously not at the expense of damaging anything. That is where my thought process is going.

I just came back home to find a letter from SS that was sent to my Lawyer as well asking for medical records and a few other pieces of information so they can try to make a decision without a hearing, so hopefully that means I won't have to even see a judge and I could have my disability in the next few months!!! This I remember when they opened up for the White Zombie / Pantera tour. I also saw them on that last Incubus tour (Incubus sounded terrible). The energy was amazing but his voice just isn't what it used to be live.

I'm not sure any of this is helpful, but here goes. First, I'm truly sorry you and her are at the point you are at right now. Fighting in a relationship, especially with the one person who means the world to you....love can be the most beautiful and rewarding of feelings, but also the most brutal and painful. You need one for the other. Second, and I don't mean to sound cold, but it sounds like you need to swallow your pride if she does mean everything to you. You have to know when to admit you're wrong, but also she has to come to terms and accept that living in a strange city is difficult, too. Lay it all out on the line, because at this point, what do you have to lose that you feel like you haven't lost already? Maybe a catharsis is what you need, or maybe it won't change a thing, but I think opening up, and then giving it space to breathe so you both can take the appropriate time to decompress, will do you a world of good. I'm loving that I walked into a record shop and bought a new David Bowie album, nearly 50 years after my Dad probably did the exact same thing with Bowie's first. I doubt my Dad will like this album much if at all... which makes it even funnier. I like one of his favorites at age 69 that he liked when Bowie was probably 20.
